Thankfully tomorrow is my last day of the infection prevention medication I had to take. I've never had interest in taking medicine and having to take pills is more of a chore than it probably should be. I just don't like the feeling of swallowing something so big... Ugh.
And that's one of the reasons why I haven't taken as much of my pain medication as I used to. Not that I really need them. The pain has been minimal and usually only when a piece of food decides to put pressure on the gums where its still tender.

I finished reading Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare today. Such a fabulous book! Even though she's written a bunch of books for the Mortal Instruments series and just recently started this Infernal Devices series, the talent continues strongly through all of the books I've read by her.
And Magnus Bane still ranks as my favorite character. Though I was a bit disappointed at how very little of him appeared in the actual story of Clockwork Angel. Every moment when there was movement and the main character Tessa noticed, I kept expecting Magnus to arrive and be fabulous. But no, it was always either Jessamine, Will or Jem. *sighs*
Despite that small disappointment, I did enjoy getting to see the background story of some of the characters I was familiar with from the MI series, such as Church the cat.

I started reading the first book in Charlaine Harris's series The Southern Vampire Mysteries novels - Dead Until Dark - today. Even though I'm only a few chapters into it, I'm enjoying it.
Though I keep finding myself substituting myself for Sookie and Magnus Bane (from Cassandra Clare's novels) for Bill the vampire. *laughs* Ahem... yeah... into another random obsession (?)... lol.

One of my friends had the first five books of the series, was planning on getting rid of them, and asked if I wanted them. I took them just to read them and see what they're like.

And since the TV series True Blood is based on the series, I may end up checking it out to see what it's like. I know awhile back a friend had me watch a couple episodes with them but I was indifferent about it then. *shrugs* Maybe after reading the books... and being a fan of the TV series Vampire Diaries... I might change my mind about it.

Good evening everyone! I feel like I've been catching up on a lot of things that I've been meaning to today that I haven't gotten around to because of me recovering from having my wisdom teeth removed. Sort of nice being able to check off a bunch of things on my mental to-do list.

Now I'm going to periodically post here in between moments of watching Grimm (since my friend Rini is waiting anxiously for me to see it, so we can have a major discussion regarding our impressions of the episode and our theories and what not)... and maybe the premiere episode of ONCE... and maybe catching up on Ellen. *shrugs* We'll see how I feel along the way.

I watched the first episode of Elementary with my parents the other day. I enjoyed it and my parents seemed to like to, so now we have a new show to watch together. It'll be nice since we're starting to run out of shows that all three of us like. Dad and I are starting to have our own father-daughter shows or personal shows we watch on our own time lately. Or some shows have been cancelled or ended.

One of the things I took care of recently was going through my wishlist here on Gaia. It was amazing how many items I decided to get rid of (and some of them I wonder why I added them to the wishlist in the first place). Anyway, my wishlist is looking a lot shorter now.
And thankfully the Marketplace allows you to view all of the items on your wishlist at once rather than just the first few. While some I might be able to afford at some point, there's a lot of them (mostly the cats) that I'll never be able to afford because they aren't available to buy and would be way beyond my price range.

Another great episode of Grimm. Pretty cool that Monroe got to work undercover, though I felt bad for him when the Sheep people started chasing after him through the church believing he was a bad Blutbad too like their Reverend had been. Thank goodness Nick and Hank arrived in time to save him!
