-Miru frowns but gets out of the water- Yes, ma'am. -she smiles shyly at Kits- Thank you for sliding with me... -gives her another small smile, not really looking at her-

Miru, Bonnie brought your things while you were swimming. The lady at the front desk put them in a locker for me. -Dec hands her a key- Go ahead and change, okay? I need to be taking you back in the next twenty minutes or so.

-Miru nods and takes the key, pets Rasu then heads off in the direction of the lockers, waving pleasantly at Kits. Rasu folows behind her-

Don't sweat it, Miss. I just call it like I see it. wink

*before Kits could finish saying she was cold, pulls of shirt and holds it out to her* I don't want you to be cold, miss. ^_^

Amy hoped Logan was okay. It was late, though. It was already dark.

When he said that she had a friend in him, tears gathered in her eyes and she smiled. She didn't say anything, but she nodded. He was a really good guy. She hoped she'd see him again soon.

She watched as he walked the back way toward the parking lot. Actually, that was the quickest way to leave AS without stepping on the property. Wait... did that make sense? Well, it did in her head. That was what was important.

She sighed, picked herself up, and then headed home. She wanted to sleep at her house tonight just in case her dad decided to 'drop by' her house, which used to be her mother's before she married Amy's dad, to make sure she was in deed living at her house and not at her boyfriend's.  

[Kits Rose]

Bye, Miru! It was nice meeting you. I hope you come back to visit soon! ^_^

Oh... *blushes again* Thank you... I have clothes inside, though. I need to be heading home, too. I'm sorry, I can't stay to talk tonight. I have an early appointment tomorrow.

No problem. You're welcome. biggrin *puts shirt back on* That's alright, Beautiful. I just stopped by to see your lovely form before I headed to my own house. wink *gives her a playful grin* And I was most sorely NOT disappointed. Good luck with your appointment, Kits. *grabs her hand gently and kisses it*

*grins again, nods, and heads out*

Thank you. *smiles at him* Good night, Rod.

*watches him walk away for a moment, then shivers again and quickly walks to the locker rooms, gets dressed, and walks home*

-dame chuckles and grins at Kits and Rod, making a note in her mind to tease Kits about that later. She and Dec walk towards the locker room, Dec saying he'll met them up front. After a few minutes, the trio and giant fox walk back to the MW for Dec's car then head to Dec and Bonnie's-

Amy's dad slowly woke up from his nap and blinked when he realized it was night. How long had he been sleeping?

He groaned softly as he sat up and then stood up. He started to head home.  

[Cuwen]

Amy had been working all day at AS with construction workers. They had roped off the area where the majority of the winter resort was going to be, up on the large hill. Then, they all started going over her notes, made some corrections, started making a supplies list, and other various things that were required.

They could start construction tomorrow. Amy hoped that Karrie would come by tonight so she could review things with him and get any feedback before tomorrow. He needed to be here so he could see the roped off area and she could point out the specific spots were items were going to be built.  

[rodenrock]

*walks into the Springs and goes up to the front desk lady, Jess* Good evening, Miss. I would like to leave something for the gorgeous Miss Kits, please.

Oh, yes sir, I can make sure she gets it. wink

Thank you, ma'am. *hands her an envelop*

*reads her nametag* Have a good night, Miss Jessi.

You too, sir.

*dips his head and heads out*

*inside the envelop is two tickets to the opera and a note*

Enclosed are two tickets to the opera. I would love if you would let me escort you to the show. I'll even put on a tux and everything, Miss Kits. If not, please keep the tickets anyway and take a friend or someone else.

sweatdrop I'm not sure if you like the opera or not and if you don't I can turn these tickets in for something more suited for your tastes. Perks of the business. wink

[The Unknown Shadow]

((So, I guess I missed this party by like a week, ahh well. Sucks, but when you have a life, when you are the working man, you find that you cannot make some stuff. God, still feel like an a** though. sad ))

Some time had passed, and Shadow had headed down to where the pool area was. Although this would be likely the final week for that sort of thing, he still wanted to check it out.

That's when he found that the pool area was closed and that they were beginning construction for the winter festivities.

Silently cursing, he began to head back, noting that there was no point in staying in this area now. Summer was almost over, and a new season was about to come to pass.

((It's still hot as Hades around here. 3nodding ))

{{Oh the pool area is still open! It's just the hill by the pool. smile And don't feel bad. The party didn't really happen. But we're thinking about having one on a Sunday in the future! biggrin }}

{{And today was actually our first really cool day! Only 68! biggrin }}

Amy laughed and lightly pushed Tommy to the side as a group of them stood at the bottom of the hill looking at the construction going on. When Amy spoke, her voice was slightly hoarse and she sounded congested. Her nose was red.

"I am NOT contagious anymore, Tommy, so you're not going to catch it. I am on antibiotics, which means that I'm no longer contagious."

She turned her head to glance over at Jessi. "And I'm good enough to be back. Almost a week at home sick was not fun. I had to send Thistle to Kits' so that she was sure not to get sick, too. I have some... really strong medicine I could have used, but I couldn't find where I put the stupid bottles, and I was too tired to get up and look all around the house."

She looked back up the hill and smiled. "But it looks like the construction is going great even with me missing most of the week. This is great!"

A few minutes later, Amy yelped as she felt her feet lift off of the ground and a pair of hands scoop her up. Tommy walked her over and sat her down on one of the bar stools in the dry section while Jessi and another staff member went behind the bar and started getting some green tea and crackers.

Amy sighed when Jessi sat the glass of tea in front of her and the staff member set a small plate of crackers beside it.

"You all are incorrigible. Good thing Karrie isn't here, too, or I'd be smothered by all of you."

She smiled softly at all of them so that they knew she was just joking.

Jessi came around the bar and hugged Amy from behind, which almost caused her to spill her tea as she went to drink some. Jessi chuckled and said, "You're one of our fearless leaders! We MUST take care of you!"
