(Again its all in perspective, I don't think of odd as a negative word. I'm Asian and believe me when I say I have eaten and experienced some very very odd things while living in Asia, and yet they were not bad experiences.)

(Eh, Canadian Eng is similar, I just prefer not to think of any specific words as negative until proven that they are being used in such a fashion.)
