Two of the fights one, medic ninja rushed to the field to treat the wounded. Zane and Nowe were allowed a brief break to treat injuries and regain chakra before they started the next match.
-a break later-
Nowe walked onto the field. So out of Kiri and Zane,he would be fighting Zane. While a break wasn't enough time to be fully healed, it was enough for them to have a battle. Still, Nowe would have to lay back on the shadow clones this time around.

Awaking some time during the break Kohane lay on a medical bed several medical Jonin stood over her one of them included someone who worked under her father. "Guess it wasn't enough huh" she muttered laying there. The medical ninja had quickly gotten her condition stabilized and stop the bleeding from her wounds. It would take some time to recover but she was atleast fully bandaged up.

Tayu winced. The medic ninja attending to her was being careful, but the antiseptic still hurt. Kita had escaped being harmed at all. The bird sat on the windowsill, watching. "I hope Kiri's okay," Tayu muttered. The other leaf genin had been so stubborn! It didn't help that Kirinata's element only added to the power of Tayu's. It hadn't been a fair fight. Either way, she'd won, and Kirinata'd lost. She was going on to the next level.

 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kirinata fought back tears of frustration and pain as the medic nins worked on her. She knew it was stupid but she just hadn't been able to bring herself to give up. She had been a such a disadvantage, right from the start with all her attacks being wind-based. She jerked as the medic poured an antiseptic over her burns. "I'm fine. I'm going to watch the last fight." She growled and pulled away. She would deal with the rest of the wounds afterwards. She wanted to see Nowe and Zane's fight. Ignoring the burns across her arms and back, she left the infirmary and headed to the viewing area.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Well, here we are, anything to say before we start kicking each others butt all over the stadium?" Zane asked with a smile, he hoped Nowe didn't know about his Sharingan, it make the big reveal all that more exciting, besides Zane was sure Nowe had some tricks that he hadn't told him about.

Ulrich saw the fights come to an end and spat in disgust. "How utterly idiotic! How incredibly dumb! This is ****ing retarded! Does no one see how stupid all this is?" he yelled. He got a few dirty looks, but that was about all. He shoved his hands in his pockets and then stormed off to find the infirmary and see if all the ninja were going to be alright. It took some persuasion, but he was finally let in. Only two of the three who had been defeated were there, and none of the lucky winners. One of them, a boy who looked about Ulrich's age, was still unconscious. The other one was a girl. She looked pretty messed up. The jonin were just about finished with her.
"Hi," Ulrich said, "I just came to see if you were all OK... Those were some...pretty intense fights."
(He is talking to Kirinata).

Nowe smiled back, "Yeah, I don't want to hear about your eye holding you back. Your to good to be slowed down by that." He said, drawing his katana. The announcer looked at the two, then started the match.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kirinata sat down, her legs dangling through the bars of the railings. She leaned forwards, resting her head against the bars. "There's no way to do this fairly, so go both of you! Do your best!" She called down to Zane and Nowe. She couldn't decide who she wanted to win. It was too hard to pick between her teammates. The tiger that should be....isn't....

As soon as the medic released Tayu to return to the arena, Tayu was off like a shot. She got there just as Zane and Nowe's fight was beginning. "Good luck, you guys!" she cheered for both genin. She couldn't really pick favorites when here friends were fighting each other. She looked for familiar faces in the crowd of people watching and saw Kohane and Kirinata. A genin she didn't recognize was talking to Kohane. Tayu headed to where Kirinata was sitting. "Hey, Kiri-chan," she said softly, sitting next to her, "How ya feeling?"

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kirinata looked up at the sound of Tayu's voice. She smiled at the other genin. "I'm fine." She said easily, pulling her jacket farther closed. She didn't normally wear a jacket but right now she wanted to hide the burns across her arms and back, something her normal shirt didn't do. "That was a great fight. You did really well." She obviously didn't hold any hard feelings towards the other girl. And why should she? Kirinata knew going into the fight that she would probably lose. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Tch. Some great fight," Tayu muttered to herself then smiled sadly at Kirinata. "You did really well yourself. Look," She rested her fingertips lightly on Kirinata's arm, knowing full well that there were bandages under the jacker. "That really wasn't a fair fight. I should've remembered that you were a wind-user. If I had, I probably would not have even fought you. It's not that I think you're weak. Hell, you're stronger than me!" She smiled then looked away. "It's just that I hate fighting my friends...especially when I've got the advantage."

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kirinata chuckled and smiled lopsidedly. "Do you think every opponent I meet will be nice to me when they have the advantage? No. I knew very well, going into that fight, that I was probably going to lose. I mean, had I managed to force you to taijutsu, it might have turned out differently. As it is, I lost and that's that." She shrugged, then winced as she remembered why that was a bad idea. "You were right not to take it easy on me and I thank you for that." She said sincerely. Tayu smiled. "No problem. I guess it's kinda hard to actually make me have to stay on the ground. I may be a fire user, but with Kita around, I've been using jutsus that I can use in the air a lot more." She stroked the bird's head. "Um, Kiri, once you've recovered if you wanna spar with me...actually fight me with taijutsu...all you haveta do is ask. 'Kay?"

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kirinata brightened up. "Would you mind? Nowe knows all my tricks and Zane's getting there. So it's hard to really just spar against them. I keep having to get creative. It'd be nice to just have a real taijutsu fight for once." She said with a laugh. "Besides, then I can show you how you would have lost." Her words were said with a playful tone, not really meaning anything by them. The tiger that should be....isn't....
