"Call me Christian. I'm back."
It was great to be talking to here, again. Christian missed this place fiercely, or maybe it was just the company. His mom had been busy with Henry and his dad was off on a business trip. "Oh you know, it is what it is. Summer. I was just glad to go swimming the days it was warm enough. But rather boring compared to this place." Christian took another look around, from the first years being sorted, to the entrance, a sweeping look that included the ceiling and the rest of the students. "I met my soon-to-be stepfather and his kids. Nice surprised that they were magical. I guess." Christian feel silent, but at his stomach rumble, he began with another statement. "I did, however, spend much of the summer waiting for the food. My mom isn't much of a cook and well... yeah." Christian trailed off.

Have you heard the news? Bad things come in twos. But I never knew 'Bout the little things. Every single day Things get in my way. Someone has to pay For the little things.
Uriel Adair Scott - Muggleborn - First Year - Hufflepuff - [feeling: friendly] [thinking: Hufflepuff, huh?] [with: Bonnie] [at: Hufflepuff Table]
Uriel blinked in surprise at the poke to the chest, and then laughed. she reminded him of his younger sister Jess a little. In a good Jess way. Not an obnoxious Jess way. She was usually either one of the two. "Oh, I'm a muggleborn. I mean, my biological parents weren't magical. But I was adopted by my mum and dad. So my mum's a witch and my dad's a muggle." he tried to keep things simple, seeing as he was somewhat of a confusing person. "I'm a muggleborn who was raised like a halfblood would be." The sound of a thump from nearby drew his attention, and he looked over in the direction of the noise. Another first year, a girl, had just fallen off the bench. She looked to be unconscious. "Is she alright?" he asked, mildly alarmed.
It all comes down to you.
Let the headlines wait, Armies hesitate. I can deal with fate But not the little things. Armageddon may Arrive any day. I can't get away From the little things.

Quidditch is my life, but my knowledge is who I am.

William looked to his side, seeing the girl that Jayden must've been talking about. Taller, dark-haired, blue eyes...she was a looker. He decided he should really introduce himself...better than he had last year at least.
"Hello...Newlyn isn't it? Well, nice to meet you, I'm Jayden's brother William, but I'm sure you probably know that," he said, smiling a bit. He wasn't accustomed to smiling a lot; so the smile was really ephemeral and didn't last long at all. At least he did though. "We've already met, but I wanted to at least formally introduce myself,' he said, sitting down across from her; so she wasn't uncomfortable at least.
William was glad that his brother had found another girl. He never thought the kid would ever get over Tristain. Talk about love at first sight that was. That was almost an amazing occurrence, but it didn't end up going. And the girl moved away of course. He felt bad for Jayden, because if Belle were to ever do something like that, Will honestly would not know what to do with himself. And that was the god's honest truth. But he never has to think about that: does he?
