Eunmi looked fearful as she withdrew her hand. If the Musharna was dead... She stepped forward, rushing toward her unconscious Smeargle. She carefully checked for his pulse, her own heartbeat seemingly caught in her throat.
Everything seemed to be warm. The colors, the smells, the temperature. Being so tired, he welcomed it.
"Hey, you," the voice said. The brown and tan pokemon slowly rose, blinking weary eyes up at the speaker. He couldn't quite make out the face for a moment, but eventually his vision cleared and D-Vee found himself staring up at a blue-eyed, brown haired girl. She smiled at him and ruffled his fur lightly before turning around and stepping away. As she moved, he noticed the artist's smock tied around her waist and the paint that had dripped and smeared onto it. He watched quietly as she lifted her arm, a brush in hand, gently making precise strokes on the canvas in front of her.
"You sleep too much, Deev," the girl said. The Smeargle stretched and sat upright, opening and closing his mouth a few times. He looked around, but the details of where he sat were fuzzy - it made his head hurt to try and focus on anything else. All he could see clearly was the girl.
[Wh...what's going on...?] he murmured.
"You must be hungry," the girl said, putting down the brush. She turned to him again and picked him up. He felt his tail wag and happiness swell up inside as she looked at him.
"Let's go get ice cream," she said, grinning.
Eunmi scooped the Smeargle up into her arms after finding his pulse, hugging him close. He slowly opened his eyes, staring up at Eunmi's, for a moment unable to distinguish what was happening.
[I...missed you...] he said, closing his eyes again, not recognizing Eunmi for who she was, but for who he thought he saw. Eunmi's shoulders shook as the Pokemon drifted back to sleep. She stood up abruptly, glaring at the ground. She was mad at herself for letting D-Vee get so hurt, but also irritated (irrationally, of course) that Robert had been there and not kept them safe, and was now sternly telling them what to do.
"...return," she murmured, letting D-Vee's poke ball absorb him in a beam of light. She slowly scooped up the nearest Munna after clicking D-Vee's poke ball back to her belt, holding her tongue for now.

That's the thing about dreams. One minute they're one thing, the next, they're not. As Luka whirled around to look at his 'father', the world around him melted into a gigantic tree with thousands of Pokémon living within it. His 'father' no longer existed and Luka was once again at peace.
((Seriously, I need to go to sleep now, bye guys.))

When Eunmi dashed for D-Vee Henrietta dashed for Darumi. She cut past Robert, her steps only slightly hesitant as she passed him and soon she'd reach the crowd of Munna and she dropped to where she'd left Darumi's ball.
In the pit of unconscious bodies she looked frantically but found nothing. The ceiling groaned above her and the hall to her right crashed down, closing off the path that they'd gone when they originally went after Plasma.
"Darumi!" she shouted to no avail. He was gone.
Her vision blurred with tears and her shoulders slumped in defeat only after she'd frantically moved each and every heavy, 50 lbs Munna. Exhausted, even more so than before, Henrietta whispered, "he's gone."
Darumi, Flurry and Lancer were all gone.
She turned her head to look at Robert but she didn't have the energy to bring herself to blame him, to be irrational. So, she blamed herself. Her voice cracked as she said, "I should've stayed, I was no help there, but I could have protect him here."
In the pile of Munna bodies, Henrietta buried her face in her hands and sobbed.

David looked on with a frantic expression as he had been saved by the mysterious man. "Th....thank you." He got up as the grunts departed, and quickly used the items he had been given to heal Goliath, Samson, and the Munna. He walked over to Cicero, who was still consciou, though battered up, and smiled as gave the Cubchoo a Super Potion. "You did great little guy, thanks to you, we were able to save this Munna." He smiled as he let Samson and Goliath out.
Samson looked down at Cicero. [That was rough. But you pulled through for me, little bro.] Goliath looked at the Munna. [Hey there, kid, you alright?]

Robert helped to carry the Munna out. His Pokemon aided, each carrying one. Robert looked over at Hennrietta as she was seeming to bash herself over the loss of her Pokemon. That's when he remembered the man he fought. "By any chance, did a guy with a really weird Pokemon come around and give you guys those Pokeballs you left here? I know I wasn't able to do anything at the time, but he said he was going to return them to their owners." Robert asked. If the man didn't hold to his word, Robert swore he was going to hunt that man down and get them back. It was one thing to attack a bunch of Pokemon, but to steal the Pokemon of others was outright unforgivable.

Wow, these things were heavier than they looked. Shery felt her arms strain, but by shifting to the side so that her hip could take some of the weight, she managed to hang on to the struggling Munna without much trouble.
"Shush," she whispered, "I'm not going to hurt you."
But words weren't enough. Munna continued to panic, its choked voice screaming.
[It's okay.] The voice caused Munna to pause. Audino. [You're going to be all right.]
Audino herself was holding a Munna perched atop her head, a smile on her face. The Munna Shery held relaxed somewhat, though still a little concerned about being held so close by a human.
"Purple..." Shery's voice trailed off. It looked like the worst news. The girl bit her lip before falling debris reminded her of something important: "We can talk about this later. We need to get out of here quickly."
***
The tree continued to morph. The pokémon gathering, building into one another. It took on life, a singular form. Their flesh tore open, a horrible jagged mouth amidst the patchwork of skin.
The pokémonster roared, the pokémon that constructed it screaming, crying individually in untold agony. It ripped its foot out of the ground, pokémon blood spilling from the split-open creatures.
One step forward, another. Disorientation, nausea. The pokémonster spread its form aside, getting closer, close enough so that Luka could see the frozen horror faces of each pokémon, staring accusingly at him.
Its body dropped, sweeping around, the screams intensifying, dizzying. Its arms would fuse around the sleeper and its body would complete a dome, blocking out light, rendering inky black. Except the cries wouldn't be halted. The pokémon would continue to scream, beg, plead for the pain to stop, the agony of their existence to end.
They'd close in. Anger taking hold. Rage brimming each syllable, each sound more and more. Now Luka would be the one captured.
"You little b***h... b***h... b***h..." rang his father's voice.
((G'night, Richy))

And Robby, who was probably the one with the least idea of what was going on, looked at the dead Musharna. Sure, it didn't smell good now, but... "Y'know, I could make a stew outta this one here." He continued staring at it, remembering a particularly delicious stew that, unknown to him, had absolutely no Musharna in it. "Anyone else gonna eat it? Yeah? No?"

The Munna were 50 lbs each, and although Eunmi could pick something that weight up, she couldn't stand very long holding it. She let the Munna roll off her lap back onto the floor. Her lips pursed together as Henrietta cried, and in an instant, she was on her feet rushing at Robert, despite Shery's warning.
"This is all your fault," she growled, threateningly holding her fist up. "You just let some guy come and take our Pokemon? You 'couldn't do anything about it'?
"Henrietta took a bloody ******** beating to try and keep her Pokemon from getting stolen, and you haven't got a scratch on you!" Eunmi shouted.
"And shut up, Robby," she snapped. She swiftly turned back around, and walked over to Henrietta, grabbing her arm and hoisting her to her feet.
"How dare he think that two girls can lift those heavy a** munna," she hissed through clenched teeth. "And giving us orders after doing nothing himself?!"

A weird guy with a weird Pokemon? The man in robes? Henrietta looked at Eunmi as she went off on Robert and she didn't struggle as she was hoisted to her feet. Staying close to Eunmi, she looked over at Robert.
"Th-the man in robes..." She recalled only briefly looking at him. He'd lead Plasma away. So, in the end, the men in armor still got away with one of her Pokemon.
"Eu-eunmi... we should go," she whispered as she grabbed the girl's hand. It was a comfort.
The ceiling creaked again, this time directly above them. They weren't going to have time to get dozens of munnas to the surface, not unless they had fifty more people.

"He didn't just come up and take them, and I didn't stand by and do nothing. You have no idea what went on down here. And that doesn't take away the fact that this place is about to collapse and kill all of us. You can take your anger out on me when we get topside and aren't in danger of dying." Robert responded. "Yes, I failed. I did everything I could to protect the Munna and the Pokemon here. For right now, let's stay alive at least long enough to get topside." Robert spoke.
Their words confirmed his fears. The man wasn't going to uphold his word. If Robert survived all of this, he was going to hunt the man down and force him to give back those Pokemon. He carried two Munna, one in each arm. While he wasn't super strong, he was strong enough from all of his training to bench 120 lbs. He could carry two Pokemon with a moderate amount of difficulty. His other Pokemon carried as many as they each could, one a piece. Of course he hadn't taken the time to notice the cuts he had alon the side of his face from when he hit the ground during the fight. By now, those wounds were scabbing over.

Saving the Munna was a nice thought and all, if you could ignore how much each weighed. And that they were psychic, probably could take care of themselves if they woke up soon enough. Robby didn't need to be aware of this fact, though. His focus was far more important than a few lives.
The obese lad lifted the Musharna, probably an oddity to some considering his weight. But he could lift himself with his arms, and his stomach being under the Musharna made it a bit easier to carry. So, with the lack of complaints, he was going to have stew tonight. The obese lad would, now, continue on his way, leaving the collapsing dreamyard underground. or intending to, anyway.

David had split up with Samson and Goliath, determined to scour the place for others who may have been caught up in whatever Plasma had been doing here. Goliath and Samson had wandered deeper in, and they waved down Eunmi and the others as they spotted them.

"This would be so much easier with Gothorita," Shery muttered as they began to leave. Every now and then the earth slipped, dislodged from the Earthquake, and threatened more of the facility. Occasionally an aftershock would cause another room or hallway to collapse.
It was a matter of time until their luck ran out. They had the get the hell outside as quickly as possible.
Audino decided to lead the way, using her keen hearing to detect the sound of wind rushing around up top. And pokémon cries, heartbeats, snapping branches. In the distance there were hurried shouts of humans and traffic. City noises. She heard them all. And from that sound, Audino built up a mental picture of the path ahead.
"Let's go, people!" Shery yelled back to everyone as they moved.
