((it was just the knee, right? *doesn't remember*))
As soon as the doctor pulled out all the bullets, Hector pulled out the cork of the whiskey with her teeth and pored some of it into his wound while the doctor went through his bag and pulled out a needle and thread. It didn't take the doctor long after that to stitch up the wound. "His knee looks torn up pretty bad." The doctor started. "He'll need to be off of it for a while if he wants it to heal properly. I do think there are some men at the far end with some machines that could help him walk without putting too much pressure on his knee."

Shepard cringed when the whiskey made contact, the pain going through even in his unconscious state. He lay still after the doctor was through.
"I can't thank you enough" Cedric said to the man, he looked over Shepard, he was still in bad shape but hopefully he wasn't at risk of dying now.
((ok. Gonna sleep for a while))

"No problem." The doctor said as Hector gave him a small sum for his troubles.
Hector watched as the doctor turned and left, then looked back at Shepard and Cedric. "It's like everywhere I go, both of you, as well as a great deal of bad luck, follows." She sighed with irritation. "Don't do anything... stupid." She told Cedric before turning and walking back towards Victor.

Cedric wasn't even paying attention to Hector. He looked downat Shepard who was starting to regain consciousness "take it easy..."
Shepard pushed himself off the ground, he was panting lightly but he was fine "Cedric...I need your help."

"Oh, and speaking of legendary people...", Danny said calmly but with happiness in his voice. He then whispered to his cousin some things.
"Uh-huh. Uh-huh", the brunette girl listened to Danny and then her eyes lit up. "Ruby! It's Ruby!", she called out, pointing at Ruby and the rest of the family followed, to praise her.
An older man of the same features as Danny's relatives stepped out of the stall. He was a tall man with a strong, albeit, slightly intimidating build. "Hey, Dan. These are for you...", he said, handing Danny a few letters.
"Huh?", Danny muttered obliviously as there were four letters - one for each year that passed since he graduated. He blinked a few times, reading the letter addressed for the current year.
"As one of the outstanding, graduated scholars of Ander, you are hereby invited to present at the exhibit featured in the military ball, celebrating years of Ander's industry and ingenuity..."
He blinked a few more times and looked up at his uncle. "The government paid for my education... In Gunther?" He looked at the paper again and continued, "And each year, I was being invited to present at the exhibit?"
"That's right, kid. You didn't even say goodbye to us before you went cadoodling around elsewhere. These letters have been arriving every year since then... But I sure am glad to see you again!", the man embraced Danny tightly.
"Um, uncle... I can't breath...", Danny said as he let the man hug him.
Win looked over at Venge when some of her excitement and obliviousness wore off and she let go of his hand. "Sorry about that", she said with a smile, hoping he didn't think anything of it.

Ruby scratched the back of her head, not knowing quite how to react to the children's happiness. "Y-yeah. That's me alright." She replied with a chuckle, then noticed the man embracing Danny. "W-wait, you were a top student a an academy?! And you were invited to the royal military ball!?" Ruby asked flabbergasted. "A-are you trying to tell me the spacey pup I picked up is actually a genius?!"

Victor instantly recognized Cedric and whispered into Hector's ear "isn't that the guy who blew up your ship? Who's that with him?".

"The guy who almost killed me. I thought they weren't in Ander anymore ever since Hannon destroyed my villa. The one is in too bad of shape to do any real damage, or at least I hope." Hector replied

"Shepard, you branded me a traitor and made a threat on my life. I can't just put all that aside and help you"
"Cedric, I know what I did, but you know it had to be done" he said, a stern look forming on his face "please if you do this for me I will repay you, I'll help you start a new life for yourself"
Cedric hesitated but eventually let in. Shepard told him of the current situation, including the matter of the princess being n the premises, Cedric understood.
"leave it to me, I'll find her." he said, before walking away he placed his hand on Shepards shoulder "don't die while I'm gone old man" he said with a grin and walked off.

Victor walked over behind Cedric and placed a firm grip on his shoulder. "Hold it. I think we have some unfinished business to attend to" he said.

Cedric turned his head slightly and saw Victor, he glared at the man. "I don't have time for this" he grabbed Victors hand and tossed it off his shoulder, he kept walking off.

Cedric halted when Hector stepped in front of him "he's going to be fine...and he's not my partner" Cedric found it difficult to finish that sentence, he couldn't help but think of the history he had with Shepard and how it was all over. "Step aside Hector" he said almost threateningly.
Venge returned Wins smile "it's fine" he said honestly. Venge's eyes lit up when he saw something at far off booth "ooooh" he said as he walked closer to it.
