Isamaru Ichicune I'm: Isamaru820 wooo! The game angers me. but I love it XD I am Edoga-Yamato. This isn't a role-playing game in which each player is confined to their techniques, friend. Each player has role-playing skills of their own. If I am much better in Taijutsu according to my own skill as a role-player and you are a Taijutsu user, I will beat you. RPing skill comes into play here.

Not... necessarily...
And... the purpose of us having classes is to make the entire guild more like an RPG.
It doesn't matter how well you roleplay; a genjutsu user shouldn't be able to beat a taijutsu user in physical combat.

Which would be playing against your strengths, which means you'd be boning yourself. Just because you're better at roleplaying it doesn't mean you'd win. Someone two ranks up and a taijutsu user would knock you silly. Stats come into play as well, Ed.

Purposely hold back?
A genjutsu user is gonna have a horrible punch compared to taijutsu user.
A genjutsu user isn't going to move as swiftly or with as much flexibility as a taijutsu user.
If you roleplay as a character that's universally strong, you're likely playing out of your class' limitations.

Well I get that, Shin. I understand that one can't be very strong at what their class is not but if a Ninjutsu Jounin goes against a Taijutsu Genin, the Genin is going to win? I hope not..
I'm not completely useless in close quarters, Anon. I have the Hatake skills to use with my two Katanas plus the elemental armors which increase my Taijutsu ability.
EDIT: What I meant by hold back is, someone is only jabbing once, towards my head, I can not use my forearm to push against the inside of their arm to deflect the jab? I have to hold back and dumb my CQC skills down?

And then the ninjutsu will hop away and shoot a fireball and win.

Doesn't matter if your lvl 10 Charmander has a bunch of fire moves, the lvl 50 Venusaur is still gonna kick your a**...

I'll just end up beating you both. Then for some reason you decide to bother my character constantly. and coming to his home for tea when you're unwanted...well it works in other things. And since I am the main character ;D
