Jake sat in the bleachers cheering and calling to Al " Good luck Al." Then he looked up at Typhlosion saying " Im sure upset we didnt make it dont ya think"
Typhlsion turned to Jake saying " Ya I agree Jake but I still had fun."
"Yeah I guess." Jake agreed.

It was a balancing act to be sure. A pokemon under one arm, another on his shoulder, and a box containing two drinks with popcorn and a bit of pokemon food teetering ominously in his free hand, Raskal made his way through the crowded contest hall to his seat. He expected that Lilly was bound to show up sooner or later. It was just a matter of time.
he used her empty seat to place the box of food down and the two pokemon using him as a chariot promptly jumped into his lap to get a better view (and more comfortable according to Raskal) of the stage. The eager trainer picked up his cup and began sipping the drink inside, wondering how long he'd be stuck playing baby-sitter.

"Thanks Jake." 'Why did I say that to her?! I'm such an idiot!' Al facepalmed himself mentally and physcially, feeling stupid.
"Idiot." Pikachu commented.
"Gee, ya think?!" Al growled, in embaressment, and in anger. "I try to say something nice and cool, and THAT pops out of my mouth..." He muttered, now just wanting to get this contest is over with.

Lilly turned from Al and walked to the stands, giggling a little. She spotted Jace and walked over to him, "Oh, you have an Eevee too? Looks like their best friends already."

Al sighed. "Well, it can't be helped... and with the battle coming, I'm either in or out..." He thought, still planning out the battle.

". . .Well, we reached this far. Now Let's go forth and hope for the best." Rita said to Namine as she nodded; feeling excited for the second round, when she noticed Al feeling pretty down. "Um. . . A Penny for your thoughts." Rita said to Al

Raskal took note of Lilly's approach. "Hey!" He said with a friendly wave. "Yeah they seem to be getting along. Saved you a seat." Raskal motioned for the girl to sit beside him then held up the second cup from the box of food. "Thirsty?"

From my guess is she's holding something back, and so do you. I think you should show how much you care about her." Then noticing the P.A. system going off she faced the Main room. "Its time, I wish you good luck in our battle." Rita entered the center stage with the crowd going crazy.

Lilly smiled, taking the seat Jace offered her, she also took the drink, "Yeah, I'm thirst, So I guess the contest is finally starting, huh? It sure took them long enough."
Missy playfully tackled Jace's Eevee. "Ha! gotcha!"
"Missy! stop it and watch the show, I will probably be battling one of them, for sure!"
"Fine, gosh!" Missy pouted and jumped on to the railing in front of them, watching intently.

Eevee pawed at Missy's tail as she dangled over the railing then jumped up beside his new friend. Raskal watched the two with a gleam in his eye then turned his attention to the stage. "I hope it gets underway soon, I'm bored!" He murmered.

"Same to you." He took her words to heart and got into his spot. "Let's go, Leafeon!" As he tossed the ball into the air, petals rain down onto the field and Leafeon appeared onto the field.
