Good evening everyone. Sorry that its been a week since I last posted here. Just been busy with other events like hanging out with Alex, volunteering, and Thanksgiving.

On Tuesday (Nov. 20), Alex came up to my place and we finished watching the last few episodes of Season 5 of Doctor Who. As a result, Alex has watched a full season of the show. He seems to be enjoying it and occasionally makes DW references in some of our conversations. So... I'm pretty certain I've transformed into a Whovian though he hasn't officially announced it yet, lol. After dinner, we went to see Wreck-It Ralph. Such a great film!
Thanksgiving was good. Our turkey cooked weird - the white meat was done before the dark meat was. So, we had to take the white meat off and put the turkey back in the oven to cook the rest. And Dad's stuffing didn't turn out; it was too soggy and ended up being thrown out because there was no way to redeem it.

Saturday I went with Alex to his friends' Housewarming Party. I felt a bit out of my element because 1) it's probably my third time hanging out with the group and 2) almost everyone was drinking beer. I'm not much of a beer drinker myself... and I wasn't sure what else there was to drink besides water ((or where I could get a glass)). *shrugs* None the less, my favorite part of the evening was playing Apples-To-Apples and LIFE with the group.
According to A-T-A, I am "efficient," "elusive," and "heroic". I agree with the two first ones... and I guess the third one could be true.
The game of LIFE we played was the first time I never had children. I ended up being an Artist with a fluctuating salary of $80,000-$90,000. Alex ended up with three kids and for the version of LIFE we played, he apparently liked my artwork because he kept having to pay me for when he bought my art ((spun a 1)).
Quite interesting what you learn about a person through games like that.

 Hmm... usually Alex contacts me to say "Hi" and ask me what I've been up to. I haven't gotten any such communication today so far. Sure, I could do it myself but... I don't really have any pre-planned topics to discuss. That's why I don't usually contact people just for the heck of it. I usually want some sort of conversation starter besides a "Hello" and "How are you?" *sighs and shrugs* Hard to say...

There we go. Now I have a new avi look. Not completely Christmas-y but it echoes the Winter-y feel of the season. :)

After asking Alex on what his favorite Pokemon were ((a spin-off topic from an earlier discussion)), I got curious on what six Pokemon I would carry if I was a trainer. Still trying to narrow my choices down to just six... but it's obvious that a majority of the cat or cat-like Pokemon are my favorites, lol. There's only a few that aren't in the feline category.

I finally determined my top six Pokemon. :) It was a bit of a challenge to narrow down my feline choices but I did it.
