Slowly his mind began to clear. His intense focus on nothing and a dark void calmed him. His right arm was now nothing more than a smoke like extension from his shoulder.

Lifting his arm, he examined what would...should be his hand. It held the same general shape. Fingers, thumb, recognizable palm. But it was grey in color and poured like water with a thick fog. He had learned to utilize the Smokey Limb Technique.

Lifting his arm he held his hand palm outward towards the lake before him. as he held his hand out a whisp of smoke followed it. Concentrating, he channeled his chakra through his arm. In response the amount of smoke emitted began to grow, clouding everything in front of him.

Sighing with relief, Masato mentally commanded his chakra to slow to a trickle. The reduction of chakra caused the limb to revert to its original state. With some more practice, this could become quite useful.

Masato, being content with the manipulation of his own smoke form transformation would begin to work on controlling smoke outside his own form. As his smoke hand faded, he formed two hand signs, attempting to capture and preserve its duration.
[1/4]
He tried a combination of the horse and tiger sign, sadly this did nothing. Reacting quickly he moved to the dog and rat sign, this seemed to stabilize the smoke, but not manipulate it as it stood in place. Masato was running out of time to manipulate the small puff cloud of smoke that was whisking away.
[2/4]
With one last chance at redemption, Masato weaved his final two hand sign combination. Tiger and Monkey. With the crossing of his fingers forming the final signal, the smoke before him took form as though it had been pulled back towards him, thinning it out.
[3/4]
As he realized his success, he willed the smoke cloud forward. In response, it would dark forward, leaving its trail in its wake. He would cause the whole thing to perform a figure eight above him, allowing him to demonstrate his mastery of the technique after a short time.

With Taylor having rested a bit, he felt ready to move. Horus sensed this and picked himself up as Taylor got to his feet. "Time to go meet the kage." He said with a smile.

Before this, however, Taylor wanted to get some more training done.

Now that he got used to the movement of the chain, Taylor accustomed himself to another weapon. He maintained the poise of holding a random sword in his left hand, and sword in his right hand. He moved his two hands around to get used to the feel.

Once he had the grips secured, he then practiced dancing around with the two blades. He practiced by only giving each six swipes through the air. Once they dropped and he held the two by their grips, he practiced swinging them around some more. Once he was secured in it, he continued.

His final trick was to truly extend the ability of his weapon. First he dropped one sword and held the other with one hand. He then spun around to get used to the weight of the blade. Once he was sure of that, he withdrew the sword to his side and then swung out again. Again he showed his dexterity by mastering the weight of the weapon. Once done, he dropped the blade.

Once again he had the grips secured, he then practiced dancing around with the two blades. He practiced by only giving each eight swipes through the air the second time around. Once they dropped and he held the two by their grips, he practiced swinging them around some more. Once he was secured in it, he continued.

His final, FINAL trick was to truly extend the ability of his weapon. First he dropped one sword and held the other with one hand. He then spun around to get used to the weight of the blade. Once he was sure of that, he withdrew the sword to his side and then swung out again with more force. Again he showed his dexterity by mastering the weight of the weapon. Once done, he dropped the blade.

(Formless Style: Medium Weapon Sword: Taylor)

Taylor prepared himself for his chain scythe training. He wrapped the chain around his torso while he then wrapped about five feet of chain around each of his arms. He then held the sickle in his right hand while he kept the weighted end in his left. From there, he started with doing a dozen pushups with the additional weight. Once he did so, he continued his training.

First was practicing with his chain scythe. He swiped his arm down and then up as he stepped forward to increase the strength of his second swing. As he raised his sickled up he then loosened his grip on the handle so that could let the weapon drop and hold it by its chain. He then proceeded to swing the chain around as he built momentum. Finally, he leaned his body and arm back as he then threw them both forward with the sickle flying forward. He then regained his center of gravity as he stood up straight and pulled the sickle back.

Next was the weighted end. Taylor began by letting the weighted end fall out of his grip as he held the weapon by its chain. He then swung the weapon by the chain over his head and then to his side. Finally, he let the weapon fly loose forward as he then twisted his body in order to turn the chain in the air. This caused it to successfully wrap around a nearby dummy. Then, with a crack of the chain Taylor called the weighted end back to him.

For hours Taylor trained. He practiced more with the sickle, then the weighted end. Toward the end he used them both at the same time in order to assure his complete control over the weapon. Finally, he threw both chains forward as he wrapped a dummy with them both at the same time. As he pulled the weapon away from the dummy, the sickle sliced it half while the weighted end tossed it to the side.

With all of his bloodline out of the way, Taylor returned to practicing the way of the chain scythe. He practiced the art of maneuvering the chain in the air. According to the style, a person with major control could change the direction of the chains while they're in the air. This was his goal now.

Taylor practiced for hours throwing his chain in the air. He tried to change the chains from the base, but nothing worked. He tried to shake the chain, but that just made the sickle or weighted end fumble and stop flying in the air. Eventually, he decided to try something else.

Over time, he learned how to subtly change the direction. He learned by drastically raising or lowering his arms he could change the direction slightly. He learned to get it to the point where the target was changed by a full 90 degrees. Now it was time to get it even further.

Taylor learned how to master the art. He got it to the point where he could literally shake the chain and make the weapon go a completely direction. He literally had his sickle move from in front of him to then circling around him. Once he finished, he wrapped up the chain scythe and smiled.
(Major Control: B-ranked).

Horus took off in a majestic take off while Taylor walked over to the Kazekage's office.

__ Swoooooosh!! Shashashashahsssss. Zhi appeared outside of the dojo in a blur, the small cloud sand she'd kicked up and brought with her noisily settled around where she came to a stop. She quickly looked down at the imaginary watch on her left hand's wrist and exclaimed, "Yatta!! Three minutes and forty-one seconds, my fastest time ever! I love it, two more seconds back into my day!" Zhi danced happily in a circle for a couple seconds then gasped. "Oh! I just used them up. Drat!" She glanced back in the direction she'd come. 'Well, nothing I can do about it if I have to wait for Tyler and Hoppy to catch up anyway.' Zhi sighed and tried her best to muster her self control to wait like she knew she should.

Before Taylor got into his first spar, he wanted to practice his taijutsu. The first technique was designed to come crashing onto an opponent with a high jump kick. First he leaped high into the air. He then quickly descended upon the location he desired to kick.
(Dynamic Entry: X-ranked)

The next technique was more utility. It threw forth a barrage of kicks and punches all in the desire to confuse the opponent. Taylor practiced wildly charging in and sweeping away with jabs and flicks. He then finished the technique with one spinning kick.
(Dynamic Action: X-ranked)

Next, Taylor practiced a simple tackle. He leaned into his shoulder and charged forward. He threw all of his weight into the hit in order to make it do as much damage as possible. With contentment, he threw another tackle forward before he moved onto his next trick.
(Tackle Charge: X-ranked)

For the next technique, Taylor practiced delivering a right hook to drive an opponent into the ground. He kept his feet planted as he leaned into his strike in order to push his imaginary opponent into the ground with his fist. Taylor practiced this maneuver again and again. He felt significantly stronger doing so.
(Pressure Palm: X-ranked)

For the next technique, Taylor practiced with a training dummy as he grabbed the dummy by its base, aka where his legs would be. Taylor wrapped his legs around his head as he then held himself upside down. He tightened his legs in order to make sure that he didn't slip. He was sure that he mastered this technique, despite feeling silly.
(Peregrine Falcon Drop: D-ranked)

Next, Taylor practiced hitting an opponent. He delivered an open palm strike in the air. Although it was a simple trick, he imagined that he could send an opponent far away if it hit. He calculated that at most, he could push an opponent forty feet away.
(Crushing Fist: D-ranked)

Next, Taylor practiced his speed. Taylor disappeared and re-appeared randomly in the air. This was designed to place him right behind of his opponent, like a shadow. Although his manner of practice was hard, Taylor continued to train repeatedly until he mastered it.
(Leaf Shadow Dance: X-ranked)

Next, Taylor practiced his fast speed maneuvers on the ground. He quickly darted from one area to the next, appearing in the ideal position to kick up from the ground. He would then kick up and move to another location. Taylor did this multiple times before he moved on.
(Leaf Spinning Wind: X-ranked)

Next, Taylor started to perform spinning kicks. He would do one high kick, which was followed by a second, lower spinning kick. That way, in case the opponent ducked the first one, they were swept up by the second. Furthermore, if they dodged both, then being lowered to the ground allowed for easier escape.
(Leaf Great Whirlwind: X-ranked)

Taylor's next technique involved a low, sweeping kick. The design of this kick was to kick out the opponent's legs, and make them spin away. If successful, then this kick could launch the opponent a serious distance away. It also did more damage if the opponent collided with something.
(Leaf Violent Wind: X-ranked)

Next, Taylor practiced striking with his knee. He performed slight leaps forward with an extended knee. He aimed his knee, raised it, and had himself imagine colliding it with an opponent. Once he finished, he stopped leaping around like a fool.
(Knee Strike: X-ranked)

Taylor proceeded to leap up and perform drop kicks down. He brought his heel down on the target area as he practiced the art of the drop kick. Time and time he kicked. Unfortunately he never learned how to make monstrous like quakes, but he did practice kicking, so that was something.
(Painful Sky Leg: X-ranked)

Taylor's next trick involved him performing a spinning, heel kick. He practiced short hops as he leaped in the air and spun counterclockwise in order to hit an imagined opponent. Taylor did this multiple times counterclockwise. He then did it a few times clock wise.

As he kicked clockwise, he imagined his opponent having a weapon. Taylor imagined where and how hard he would have to kick in order to disarm an opponent. He imagined he would have to kick about a moderate amount of strength in order to disarm the typical opponent. It's for this reason why he applied additional strength to the following attempt.
(Leaf Herculean Whirlwind: X-ranked)

Next, Taylor practiced his shadow leaf dance again. He imagined having an opponent in his grasp as he first performed a roundhouse kick. He then followed it with a powerful backhand blow, and then a pommeling blow to drive the opponent into the ground. Finally, he finished this attack with a hard hitting axe kick.

The technique exhausted him. The four attacks in such a succession were beyond what he could do. Still, he trained in this technique. Although he lowered the fatigue, his body still needed to recuperate for the next moment, no matter what he did.
(Lion's Combo: X-ranked)

Taylor practiced his next technique by imagining himself lifting up a smaller opponent. They would have to be quite small in order for this to work. Still, he practiced retracting his fist as he then shot his fist upward in order to juggle the opponent in the air. Taylor imagined this attack would be quite painful.

Since he couldn't count on being taller than his opponent, at least not at his current age, he practiced leaping in order to do his first hit. He leaped up, delivered a quick punch, which would shoot the opponent up. Taylor practiced this for a while. It was all he could do with his height predicament.
(Rising Impact Palm: C-ranked)

Taylor next practiced a spinning kick. He leaped up, and then came down on his imagined opponent. First he practiced the kick with the front of the kick. Then he practiced it with his heel.

Taylor also practiced using this technique with his arm. Taylor leaped up and practiced delivering a slamming punch down. He also practiced spinning to deliver a powerful blow with his elbow. He continued to spin and then strike down.

Taylor decided to be silly. He practiced spinning and then delivering a powerful headbutt. He also practiced spinning in the air and performing an excellent knee strike. He followed it by performing a powerful, spinning butt hit.

All the while spinning and striking with various limbs, he started to feel his chakra go into his moves. He spun and could swear he felt lightning on the arm he performed the technique with. Finally, after performing a spinning kick and having wind chakra explode upon the impact, he realized he was not sniffing glue and that he figured out how to channel chakra into this otherwise mundane technique.
(Leaf Thunder Fist: B-ranked)

Taylor's final technique brought him to meditation. He practiced his breathing as he channeled chakra through his body. He exerted equal amount of chakra as stamina. Finally, he struck forward as the chakra and stamina doubled his strength.

Taylor did not arrive in three minutes and forty one seconds. Horus did arrive first, however. The large bird cast a shadow over Zhi before flew around and landed by where Taylor eventually showed up. The boy arrived at a walking pace and waved when he arrived. "I'm glad you're so enthusiastic to train." Taylor said honestly. It was good to see people who were so passionate. The girl seemed around his age too, so hopefully they could be friends. Taylor and Horus were around ten feet from Zhi and stood closer to the dojo building. There was an extended awning over the dojo, and there were training dummies between Taylor and Zhi. It was undoubtedly an excellent place to train. "Whenever you're ready, we can begin." Taylor said with a smile. At that moment he then bent down and took out with his right hand from his thigh pouch a kunai and his fuuma shuriken. He brought the kunai to his left hand while he unfolded the shuriken within his right hand by swinging his right arm down. He remained crouched and with his arms to his sides as he waited for Zhi to move. She was incredibly fast, so he wanted to see what she would do first. Horus, meanwhile, did not show any signs of fighting. In fact the bird flew momentarily to the top of the awning seven feet away from Taylor to his right. The bird knew his skills and wanted nothing to do with this fight, until it became necessary.

Masato removed his headband for a moment, wiping the sweat from his headband. Settling himself against a boulder outside the dojo, he relaxed his muscles and sighed. After several minutes a cloud of dust came into sight. His interest piqued, noticing the small girl dashing ahead of it, creating it. Sighing, he realized how bubbly and eccentric the child would be. Being seventeen himself, she was much younger than himself, and... just incredibly...loud.

He was about to ask the girl if she had some sort of mental health disturbance when yet another new face appeared. A smaller framed male, blonde hair and colorful clothing. The sight of all the brightness gave him a headache. But, at least like Masato, he favored the color green. The boy seemed to challenge the girl to a fight, drawing his fuma shuriken in his right hand and a kunai to his left. The four winged avian creature was also noted watching from afar. Masato's interest now souly focused on their spar. This might be worthwhile.

__ Zhi's eyes were closed while waiting, focusing on trying to sense the area around her. Her parents always said she was good at looking for people; sadly that was the reason she wasn't allowed to play hide and seek with the other students. It almost became a habit to suppress the ability when not needed. Horus flew into range first, landing nearby and Taylor arrived shortly after. If she didn't know that this was just how fast slow people could be then she might've actually been upset. Instead, she sprang back to liveliness when spoken to. "Ooooookaaay!!" Zhi bounced up and down while Taylor readied himself for their spar. The only tools she had were some shuriken, a bow and her arrows. Well, she didn't want to play with any of those just yet.

Still hopping in place to get herself pumped up she'd say aloud while starting to gather chakra through her body for a technique her pops had been helping her work on for some time. Most of the chakra was focused in her legs to allow for the use of this version of the Shunshin technique. "Ready... set..." Unleashing all of her strength and the chakra needed to facilitate the Jinton's Shunshin, Zhi would nearly vanish in an instant, "GOGOTYLERGO!!!" Her voice would explode from behind Taylor, her hands cupped around her mouth to focus the noise right at him. She couldn't help but play the prank instead of taking this super seriously right off the bat. Depending on how he reacted, she might change her mind. Still, she was pretty sure she still didn't do it right. Papa was definitely faster. Look back to where she came from, there was a bit of a trail left behind. She'd have to try it again to make sure she did it right next time.

Taylor's eyes widened when Zhi disappeared from sight. He knew that she was fast, but he couldn't anticipate her appearing right behind him. When she did and shouted, Taylor was so startled that he tripped forward. He nearly fell on the ground before he managed to regain his balance after stumbling. "Yikes." Taylor shouted as he took a breath. While he knew the body flicker technique, he was still startled by the use of it. Horus meanwhile enjoyed the show of his human partner being frightened by the young speedster. "Hahaha. Nice work there." Taylor said with a smile. He then resumed his previous bent knee position and switched himself to face her. "Now let's see how you stand this!" He said as he brought his left arm with his kunai across his face. He then swung the blade down in a horizontal manner as a gust of wind flew from the blade. This gust would not harm Zhi, but it show some combat intensity. It was just a simple technique designed to let her know it was time to fight.

__ Zhi laughed along with Taylor, but took note of how he seemed to refocus rather intently after the dust settled. She hopped back to put herself out of the immediate reach of his weapon but became curious when she "saw" chakra forming around its blade just before he'd swing it at her from afar.

Zhi figured this was some kind of jutsu, so she'd start to prepare chakra through her body just like before as she tensed her body to hop away again. A mostly invisible wave of chakra-infused air flew out toward her necessitating a prompt response. 'One more time!' Vwwsh!! Only a slight stir came from the ground below her feet as she pushed off, disappearing once again. The initial step took her counterclockwise around Taylor, but by the end of the motion she'd be behind him again but off to his left. "I call it... Radical Good Speed! I think I have it down now. Mhmm." She yet again sacrificed her chance to actually counterattack, but at least she definitely had her clan's technique figured out.

The moment Zhi re-appeared was when Taylor disappeared. The first time completely caught him off guard. Now, he was ready for round two. He re-appeared just where she stopped. Once he re-appeared he leaped into the air and did a twirl. His right arm rose as he spun and as he faced the girl his arm came down, releasing the projectile. The fuuma shuriken spun like a buzz saw through the air diagonally down at her position. The weapon would come toward her legs rather than her torso or head. This would make it much easier for her to leap over or side step the weapon so that there was no real danger to her. Taylor was only designed to spar, not maim or kill.

__ Being so focused on her progress, she lost visual sight of Taylor. It looked like he could move pretty fast too when he really tried to. Her natural sensory ability let her still somewhat keep an eye on him as he got the jump on her. Get it? Jump! Well, she didn't have to waste any time looking for him since she could sense him anyway. Papa constantly told her that being fast didn't mean it was easy to react to things, so it was important not to waste energy or time on excess motion. Zhi shuffled backward as the unfolded shuriken flew down at her. It landed in the sand right at her feet and she just stared at it for a second. "Wheew."

While Taylor would be falling back down to the ground she pulled a shuriken from her pouch. Jinton chakra flowed through her left arm. She would throw the simple little ninja tool as her eyes moved up to her opponent. Thanks to the special shuriken technique it would fly twice as fast as she could throw it anyway, which was pretty fast compared to most at her level anyway. However, it was only aimed to land a shallow cut at the left side of his torso.

Taylor landed and deflected the oncoming shuriken with the kunai in his left hand. He brought it up to his torso and before he could truly think the weapon already clashed with his blade and knocked off to the side. 'The speed she moves at also correlates to the speed of her projectiles. Looks like direct attacks won't work.' He said as wind chakra was channeled into his weapon. A gust of wind then shot from the fuuma shuriken and shot it forward to catch Zhi off guard. It would be a low attack, aiming once again for her ankles.
