[Maya Freana]

"Yeah...sorry about that..." Amaya sighed, shaking her head as she sat up a bit so she could eat. "I'm not sure where exactly she came up with that idea..." She muttered.  

[Zelly-fangirl]

"According to her logic, you're her mom, I'm like her dad, and mom and dad are always married." Adrian said keeping his eyes fixed solely on his food before calling for a change of topic. "Sikes throwing into the ring tonight?"  

[Maya Freana]

"Yeah..." Amaya murmured. "Yeah, he's throwing me in tonight. Don't know what I'm going up against or how many there will be." She sighed, cringing in pain as she moved around a little.  

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Seriously? Even he should know you're in no shape to fight!" Now Adrian was really getting worried. Sikes really was trying to get her killed, and outside of cheating from the sidelines there wasn't much he could do.  

[Maya Freana]

"He knows." Amaya said softly. "I'm just going to have to try my hardest to get out of there alive." She told him, giving his hand a light squeeze. "It'll be okay Adrian...I'll figure something out."  

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I'm just worried, Amaya...You came home a bloody mess last night and you've barely started to heal. This is the worst shape you've ever had to fight in." Adrian said squeezing her hand back.  

[Maya Freana]

"I know....I know..." She murmured. "I won't go down without a fight when the end is so close. I'll figure something out..." Amaya said once more. "Or at least I'll make it a fight to remember..."  

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Let me help from the sidelines, please. I don't want to see you die out there. Not now." Adrian said still holding her hand.  

[Maya Freana]

"Don't you think Sikes will know?" Amaya asked Adrian, her heart sinking to see him so worried about her. She could understand, but still, it wasn't much easier on Adrian when she fought.  

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Even if he does, he'll take it out on me. I'd rather have that than stand by like a lump. Remember, I don't need to see blood to use it." Adrian pointed out. "I won't do anything obvious, just slow 'em down and hold 'em back to give you a fighting chance." he said lowering his voice.  

[Maya Freana]

"I have a feeling you'll do it even if I say no..." Amaya sighed. "Just be careful please...Sikes will notice if you're focusing too hard..." She begged him, feeling a little nervous now.  

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Damn right I will." Adrian said with a faint smile. "We're going to get out of here together, and you'll be alive to do it. Sikes'll never even know." he assured her.  

[Maya Freana]

Amaya just nodded in silence, resting her forehead against his for a few moments as she tightened her grip on his hand a bit. "Please...just be careful..."  

[Zelly-fangirl]

"I'm the one that should be telling you that. I'll be fine, you just stay alive." Adrian assured her before giving her a small kiss.  

[Maya Freana]

"I'll try." She said, returning the kiss. A sigh escaped her lips and she sat back, finishing up her breakfast quickly. "You should go rest. I'm sure your back is bothering you." She murmured, resting a hand on his cheek.
