The Machine [Open/Accepting]

"Oh, he did? Strange. Why would he not inform me?" Damien asked out loud, though he was mainly speaking to himself. "Thank you, soldier. You are dismissed" Damien said. As he saw the soldier heading out, he stopped him for a moment after looking him up and down. "I want to see you at my office after mealtime" he ordered. Damien then took a seat and noticed Monica was missing as well. "Hmm" he said, but then went to his meal.

"Uh... of course sir." The soldier replied, slightly confused. He gave a bow and left.

"I'm sure it's just your imagination. That or my subordinates are so capable, I don't technically need to work. And I know what you mean. Sometimes, I have a picnic in my estate, looking at the acres of grass. If you truly miss such things, I'd be happy to accommodate you" She paused, thinking about the pleasures of life in that place, "I have four beloved horses housed in the stables. Lienille, Arathel, Arithma, and Sevina. Sevina, my first horse is about seventeen now. I got her when I was twelve and although she isn't the best, I love her still and use her for riding side saddle in formal events. We practically grew up and aged together, she and I. Her showjumping skills may have faded but she's still quite a majestic creature. Arithma is now my new showjumping horse. Very high potential and a quick learner too. Lienille is a perfect riding horse for his great speed. I use him a lot for hunting and racing, but father didn't have to know that I used him for such. Arathel now, I often use to play casual games of polo." She stopped, having thought about her growing up with those fine steeds. She then looked at Jian again, still looking somewhat enthusiastic, "Did I bore you? I'm sorry. Just thinking about my horses has a calming effect on me" She began to cover her mouth as she smiled, thinking about it. It wasn't too often but Monica's mind wandered at times like any female.

((OOC: KYAA~!! Ecstatic lovey dovey moments in a lot of my RPs. Many nosebleeds forever and ever! Many people pushing each other into walls and violently kis- oh wait... That's not lovey dovey at all, is it? O.O ))

"Of course not. I just never knew you loved horses." Jian said with interest. "They sound like beautiful creatures. I would like it very much if we could ride together some time."

"Oh, there are many interests I have set aside for this job. Technically speaking, I would have my hands full, running the estate alone then he offers me this job. It's not something I can't resist but I prefer having this power compared to holding weekly parties for the wealthy" Monica continued, "But a uniform is too much"

"I see. So it gives you an excuse to stay out of high society." Jian giggled. "It's weird. Some people always dream of one day being part of high society, but I've always felt it would be a nightmare." Jian admitted.

Damien finished his dinner and dessert, then got up. He dismissed everyone and headed back to his office. Not too long after, he heard a knock at the door which was the young, attractive soldier who Damien had seen deliver the message to him before.

"Y-you requested to see me?" The officer asked, slightly confused. After all, he was only sent to deliver a message.

Damien stood up. "Yes, I did" he said. He escorted in the soldier and then locked the door. He then walked back looking the soldier over. "What's your name?" he asked.

"Colonel Trent, sir." He said with a salute.

Damien took a seat at his desk and sat quite casually. "Ah, I see. Well Colonel Trent, you have new orders. Come closer" Damien ordered.

The colonel blinked and lowered his salute. "Uh... yes sir." He replied, walking behind his desk when suddenly, Damien's phone began to ring.
