Belle was in shock. She looked down at him and thought she had misheard him. "W-what?" She had wanted to hear those words for so long that she thought she was just imagining it now.

Desmund was transfixed on the screen and then looked up at her confused "I love you? sorry was I talking to quietly or something?" he acted as if nothing was out of the ordinary and then went right back to watching the movie

Belle made Desmund sit up and held his face in her hands. "You can't just throw that on someone and then act like nothing happened."

Desmund sighed and took Belle's hands from his face "look you know about my old wife Nia right? I loved her more than anything, I've allways loved her, and even now a part of me still does. you need to understand that since she died I have not as much as thought about another woman until you came along. I wouldn't have tried to be with you unless I loved just as much as I loved her, the fact that we're sitting here together is a constant testimate to how much I love you. I......didn't really think I needed to say it in words" tears were starting to form in his eyes as he looked deeply into hers

Belle pulled Desmund into a hug and kissed his cheek. "I love you too. And I'm sorry if I don't see things some times. I'm afraid that they're not real because it seems so good to be true. I don't know if you can understand that but...that's how I see things. Especially when it comes to you." She continued to hold him in her arms, not wanting to let go.

Belle laughed as she nodded. "Yeah. Sorry about that." She kissed Desmund's forehead and sighed. She was happy to be with him, and never wanted to lose him.

I want you to know that if anything happens to me out there....you have to live on no matter what, you need to be able to lead in my stead. fix my mistakes...." he chuckled a little bit "..and maybe make a few of your own, but no matter what you must remember that I will all ways be watching you no matter what"

Belle looked at him, a sad look in her eyes. "I promise." She hoped nothing happened to him. She was finally with him, and wasn't going to let any thing or anyone take him away from her.

there was a large explosion in the movie and the speakers blasted Desmund's ear "ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow!" He clutched his ear and began rocking back and forth "ow stupid speakers!"

Belle flinched a little at the noise and noticed how Desmund was reacting. "You okay?" She put one of her hands over his ear as she spoke.

Desmund reached over at the screen and turned the volume down "yeah I'm fine just caught me off gaurd" he smiled up at her innocently and tilted his head for extra cute factor
