Mala grinned, thinking back to those old days. "I was such a prudish nag back then!" she noted with much amusement.

"And I was basically a selfish jackass. Funny how things work out." Van said with a smile as he combed out his still wet hair after changing. He may not have thought so at the time, but he was glad they both changed for the better back then.

((*cue musical number from Wicked*))

Mala, before long, ended up changing out of her swimsuit into a more comfortable if still form-fitting dress. "You can say that again!"

Van just threw on a sleeveless shirt (married or not, he always liked showing of his musclely arms) and a pair of jeans. "So how goes your cooking practice? Any improvement?"

 

[M3Gnificent]

Mala shook her head slightly, ashamed of her lack of progress. "Not really. The last two times seemed like it, right up until they tried to eat me again."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

Van raised an eyebrow at her. "If your cooking is coming to life and trying to eat you then you're doing something wrong."

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I know. I just can't seem to figure out what." Mala said, frowning slightly.

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Try reading a spell book or something? Or, heaven forbid, ask your mom the magic expert for assistance?" Van suggested.

 

[M3Gnificent]

"I've tried. I still suck." Mala said, in regards to the spellbook. "As for talking to my mother, you already know I can't do that."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Technically you can, you just don't want to. Also, you never said anything about going to ask her for you." Van said with a victorious smile as he headed for the door.

 

[M3Gnificent]

Mala pouted. "How long will it take you to realise that woman is going to remain dead to me??"

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"And how long will it take you to realize that if she was still plotting something she would've done it by now. That, and I'm a god. I'm supposed to be merciful. Gods and other persons trying to ruin my love life not withstanding." Van said before leaving the room.

{Sorry for taking so long. I've been planning stuff for a RPC that I'm really looking forward to. In worst case scenario, I won't get to use them so I'm also planning another RP. Just don't know which idea I want to go with just yet.}

"It's not that she's plotting anything - it's just that I can't forgive her for abandoning us like she did without a single explanation as to why versus sneaking off in the middle of the night for an ungodly bit of time!" Mala exclaimed, still finding this to be a rather touchy subject. "As far as I'm concerned, she's just a traitorous b***h and I want nothing to do with her."

 

[Zelly-fangirl]

"Not even if I'm the one mediating?" Van said as he topped in the doorway, leaning on the door frame.

((It's fine, no pressure.))

"If you want to talk to her, be my guest. Just don't expect me to like it or want anything to do with it." Mala said, remaining quite stubborn with the issue.
