Fruits Basket (the anime and manga)

What do you like about Fruits Basket? Who's your favorite character? If you could be a zodiac animal, which one would you be?

I love Furuba because it can make you laugh, cry, and is just such a great series... I've only read up to book 17 because that's all that's available in the way of manga, but i've read some spoilers and also some translated manga on youtube. It's great... My favorite character is pretty much Kyo, but Haru's really hot and kisa's really cute and Tohru's the main character, so yeah. If I could be a Zodiac animal(this includes the cat) I would be the chicken, because Kureno as the chicken turns into the bird(not allowing spoilers for those who haven't read that far, very hard for me to contain, but I'm not saying anything...) and I'd be able to fly through the skies and it'd be so much fun...

i prefer the book to the anime because it has more detail on what going on and stuuf^^

true, but the anime only goes up to about where book 9 is at. I hope they make another one... I prefer the manga as well, but I still like the anime...

Shigure's my favorite character! Even if he's a perv..xD I like Hattori too.

Too bad I get dizzy and vomit a lot when I'm on an airplane..
So that might happen even if I get to fly through the sky...
It's sad.

One of my favorite characters is Kisa, she's so cute... And I also like the latest book that's been released in the US (volume 20).

Bahhhhh. I watched the ending... which wasn't...that great..
So I stopped reading Furuba. but I actually like it crying (*actually didn't know it hasn't ended yet..*)
I should've borrowed the manga volumes in my school.

Ah well. Hopefully next year o_o

The anime isn't as good as the book.

True, but it did have a little more insight on the volumes of manga that it did cover.

OMG!!! i luv that manga!!! i'm currently trying to collect the whole volumes.... still got like ten more to go!!! I luv all the characters b/c they keep the story interesting.... but my favorite is KYO!!
