Now I'm only on my first play through of Tactics so far, so I'm not familiar with al the "best" combinations, although so far I've discovered a great combination:

Monk with Draw Out, Blade Grasp, Two Swords and Move +2, with High Br and Low Fa. (100br and 0fa if possible)

The High Br and Blade Grasp means they almost never get hit with physical attacks.
Low Fa means spells are pretty much ineffective.
Two Swords allows for the Monk to attack twice, and with high Br they hit for a lot, a lot of the time killing anything in a single move.
Move +2 is just so they can strike faster. Teleport would probably be better although I haven't learnt that yet, for all I know teleport on low Fa is useless. XD
The Samurai Draw Out ability allows for moves that place multiple buffs on the entire team at once,(Shell+Protect at once or Haste+Regen at once) and can recover a fair deal of HP regardless of Fa.
Plus some Punch Art is useful for range attacks such as Wave Fist and Earth Punch.
And for extra ownage, try an Angel Ring as well. XD

Now you could probably have an entire team of these, but I only have three characters on this build, including Ramza.
My other two are a Wizard with Time magic, for some real spell casting power, and a Summoner with Throw Item, both with HP Recover, Half MP and Move-HP Up.

Anyone else have a great build set up?

Stratagy:

It is best for all members to be equipped with atleast one Excalibur.
Once Ramza is Fast and safe, and hasted, have him cast holy on as many targets as possible, not worrying about hitting allies, if they have Excaliburs, it will heal. If you choose not to duplicate excaliburs, try to avoid hitting your allies.
Whomever can dance, have her use Witch Hunt if there are a fair number of enemy casters, or use any dance if there are none. If she can get close enough to a target, have her use her job skill, it should do good damage.
Your casters are Ramza and Beowulf, Ramza doesn't consume MP.
Beowulf can use a variety of incredibly high % of hitting spells.
Chicken, DontAct, Petrify, Sleep and Shock are his best.
Agrias Meliadoul and Orlandu are your tanks. They can take and deal great damage with their job skills.
Meliadoul's Shellbust Stab is a great skill as it hits hard and breaks armor.
Orlando and Agrias both have very strong skills. Heavenly Explosion and Thunder stab are amazing damage.

      Oh wow, someone finally replied.
I've actually completed the game now, bought the PSP remake and completed that as well, with multiple Dark Knights.

Not much more I can say to that, and I'm confused with the reserved posts, what are you planing to turn this thread into?

Any chance of replying to a thread less than a month old?
