If you've seen Cloverfield, you know it explains very little. However, you can still find the answers. CF is sort of like internet-Myst. :]

I thought it was really good. I went to watch it with my mum. We were the only two watching it when we went. We went during the day during the week, so most people were at work/school etc. We sat in these really nice chairs lol. My mum felt sick, but it didn't effect me, I felt fine through out the entire movie. Although, when the camera was moving around alot, my eyes did find it hard to focus, but I didn't get the motion sickness like the cinemas were warning.

It affects some people, but not others. If you're sitting up really close and mostly all you can see is the screen it throws off your equilibrium, because all the motion makes your brain think that you are moving too, when you're not. If you sit farther back, you're not looking at just the screen. There are solid objects in front of you, that are not moving and your brain makes the connection that it's not you that moving. It's weird.

The first time my freinds and I were forced to sit in the front seats, because we got to the theater late and we couldn't see anything. So I got really sick and lightheaded. But I went a second time with some other friends and we sat the back, and I was fine.

I thought that it was really good, I am glad that it didn't explain so much. I thought that added to the mystery and how it felt to maybe be in their situation. I didn't get into too much of the internet info. before seeing it and I didn't look up too much after and I thought it was still a good movie.

I think the movie had a problem with causing motion sickness. I enjoyed it though.

well, i loved this movie. i just kept tilting my head to go along with it. i sat in the back row because i got there 15 minutes before the crowd. anyways, i loved the ending. i loved how the camera kept going back to the past. it gave you a feeling of why they knew it was so important to the main character to get back to his girlfriend. i mean, even though everyone died, i thought it was the most romantic action movie i'd ever seen. i loved it^_^. i can't click on the links in the first post. i tried and failed sad

So what's the plot to this movie, because (I don't mean to offend the people who like it) I'm under the impression that it doesn't have one.

Plot? Alien attacks city. 20 somethings try to find missing girlfriend and escape.

First off, this was one of the best trailer/teasers I've seen in years. It gave you enough to get you interested and give you an idea of what the movie was about, without showing you the monster or too much plot.

They made excellent use of the hand held camera conceit, and the acting was very naturalistic. It ran a little too long in the beginning, but the rest of the film was pretty kick a**. You only get the camera eye view, so it begs a sequel that would give a better overview, but as a stand alone movie, it still rocks. It definitely left us wanting more and speculating, but that was fine with me, as what was there was interesting and evocative. Things seemed pretty realistic for the most part, given the initial concept, though the characters occasionally did stuff because they were characters in a movie instead of well, people, but it was good.
