It was different from my parents and I had in our minds. Alot darker and kind of weird. I cant say I liked it very much but it had nice costumes lol.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS MOVIE!!!!! The story line, the action scenes, the costumes, everything was FABLUOUS!!! i feel sorry for you if you don't see the mastery of this film!!!

I bought this randomly for a night in with my bf and I thought it was amazing. We were both sat at the end of the bed to read the subtitles but it was a really good film. The extras showed the amazing detail of the costumes and the fabulous choices Yimou Zhang made as director smile I've watched it twice since!
