Halo Movie?!!

So... anyone else heard about the Halo movie? It was supposed to be coming out 2009 but the director and crew are a little slow. I also heard that they had the cast and script ready but have put it on hold. Oh yeah, Peter Jackson is directing... so, can anyone else shed some light on this subject?

I heard about this from my little brother. I'm just going to wait and see.

The only info I have is from a magazine revealing a ral Warthog was actually created in New Zealand. You can drive it and you can have passengers. Not sure of the gun works though. (Probably not).

It was originally supposed to come out when Halo Wars does.

I never heard much about a Halo movie, but I did hear about the Warcrack movie.
