A great German movie is Good Bye Lenin!

Plot: "In 1990, to protect his fragile mother from a fatal shock after a long coma; a young man must keep her from learning that her beloved nation of East Germany as she knew it has disappeared."

Intermission is entertaining if you like British films. Not exactly foreign but a lot of Americans don't "get" it.

Alles is Liefde is a really cute romantic comedy from the Netherlands.

Battle Royale is pretty ridiculous.

4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days (4 luni, 3 saptamini si 2 zile) Is depressing/hard to watch. But eh.

Janghwa, Hongryeon (A Tale of Two Sisters) Is a good Korean horror/suspense movie. There are a tonnnn of Korean horror movies that are well done if you're into that.

I'm always watching foreign movies, I just can't really think of anything at the moment. Ugh, I hate that. haha

Amores Perros. But for the love of god do not watch if you like dogs/ Animals too much(...so many dead dogs...).

the red violin, anything by Miyazaki and Takahata, battle royal (but not it's sequel, way lame) any Monty Python and anything they were independently.........and right now that's all I got, but there are more.

It's the only subtitled movie I've been able to sit through. xP~
It was fantastic in every way possible, imo.

Hardly foreign made, though.

Anything from Spirited Away, Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, and.... well.... this is a single episode OVA, but Throw in Pale Coccoon. OH!! And Shoalin Soccer!! That's a hilarious movie!!

And maybe Vampire Effect.
It's a HORRIBLE movie, but you'll get a good laugh from how crappy it is.
