We finally got Majora's Mask the other day, and my brother began to play it for the first time. However, the last time he play the song of time to save, items that he didn't have were taken away in the cutscene and when he arrived on the first day his sword was gone.
Does anyone know why this is and/or how he can get his sword back?

That's really weird. The only way I can think of that your sword gets lost is that you left it at the smith, but that resets after you go back in time. Sounds like a weird glitch. =/

go to the lost and found at night at the side of town with the long stairs and you'll probably get it back
