Phoenix Rebellion

Plot:
In the beginning the earth was just a rock, burning with magma and fire. There was life, but very little of it. Then, at some point in time, someone decided that there would be new life, and created a bird from fire, a phoenix. This phoenix bred and recreated itself many times over. The years past, seasons came and went, and the phoenix spread itself all over the world. When humans came along, they hunted these beautiful birds for their amazing, luminescent feathers. The feathers which ranged from gold to green to black. The phoenixes learned to cope, and took the form of a human, and only resorted to using its true form whenever necessary, thus came along the legend that only one phoenix can exist in the world at once. The phoenix leader, a black phoenix with red streaks, named Gorl, has turned into a tyrant and killing and torturing innocent phoenixes to bully them into doing his will. The phoenixes, at leas the ones not siding with Gorl, are now meeting in secret and are discussing plans to overthrow this tyrant while staying hidden form the world. How are they going to do this? What causes gorl to seemingly never die, even in phoenix standards, and what sort of curse/blessing was put upon them form the beginning of time?

Aero lay on a boulder, staring at the stars absently, plans swarming through his mind. What was the proper way to stop this tyranny without exposing his kind? He only had a following of three thus far, and he cannot do anything to his cause with out more supporters...now the question is...how to advertise to others about his secret rebellion?

Lance stumbled from the salon, wincing as the hot iron burn on her arm hurt. She tried to warn the manager to watch the streets for oil slicks, since there is to be a car accident on one of them later on, and the man was to be involved. But, as usual, no one believed her, and she had a new scar to prove it. Great. Another untimely death on her watch. She wandered the streets, rubbing her burn, sulking.

Gorl glared down at his most recent victim, a cowering woman in her mid-thirties. Off to the sides of to room, by the doors, his followers each held a glowing feather. About a foot and a half in length, and ranging in a variety of colors, the feathers held a potent poison. These, the two outermost wing primary's, were knife sharp and had a poison seeping through it's veins. The poison wasn't fatal, but it caused a great deal of pain and was a prime tool for torture. 4 of these particular feathers were from the victim on the floor, as is Gorl's habit. Take the weapons, and either ally the victim or kill them through torture, his greatest pleasure. His damn brother, Aero! He stole his parent from him and he wont rest until his brother was cowering on the floor in front of him himself.

Lily walked about her apartment, working out what else needed to be cleaned. She wondered what everyone was doing at the moment, since there weren't supposed to be any meetings tonight. Oh well, it's not really any of my business... She levitated a mop and began mopping the floor of her kitchen.

Aero grumbled to himself as he realized that his meeting for his order was tonihgt. Greeaat...

Lily finished cleaning her apartment and was trying to figure out what to do next, since she wasn't tired enough to sleep yet. She decided to take a walk, and as she was walking, she realized she was heading towards the place where the rebellion usually met. That's not where I was planning to go, but what the heck.
