were you dating your boyfriend/girlfriend before telling them you loved them?
edit:We've been dating for 2 months now, and I'm more and more sure that that's how I feel about him. I just can't get the words to leave my mouth, but I'm also waiting for the right moment. But i'm not sure when that moment comes I'll be able to say it. I don't know if I'm emotionally ready to say, and I don't know if he's ready to say it, but I think he is, but I don't want to make him feel awkward if he's not... crying

It took me a while to tell my bf I loved him. Which was awkward beyond all reason since I think he said it after a month or two. I was all "Uh...... thanks..... *cough*" Yeah...
I don't like to say "I love you" until I know for a fact that I mean it. I think I knew I loved him when I was completely comfortable with him. I can be myself around him and I don't worry about what he thinks or anything. And, a year and a half later, we're still together, despite the awkwardness. :3

I was never one to jump into "I LOVE YOU"...but 2 weeks into our relationship my husband and I wanted to say it...but we kept beating around the bush, because those 3 words are scary!!It was so cute and so ridiculous...We kept saying corny stuff like..."there's something I want to say to you...but I don't know if I should...." "I know...I want to say it toooo..." So I guess it was around 1 month. We were engaged a year later, and married a year after that. Its been 6 years now that we have been married. And I love him more then I did back then. heart
