Believer of God
just say "hey we umm noticed you chratching adn we think you might have lice. Maybe u should check or something"

As easy as we all wish it could be like that, Spot has to keep in mind that hte nurse has already called her down for lice. Her friend might put two and two together and realize that Spot told on her to the nurse. SHe might be like one of my friends would be, and go all defensive and say stuff like, "Why didn't you just tell me int he first place?!" She'll be really embarassed, and it would really strain her friendship. That is why I don't envy Spot's position, since she has to use really good tact about this, and wait for JUST the RIGHT moment. sweatdrop

But, I don't know, if Spot's friend hasn't yet seen it, then Spot MIGHT just have to be really blunt like that.

yeah, i really wish it were simple. But i mean, Emma and i have known her since like 1st grade and we'd like to continue the friendship sad
And now ashley's trying to help us too, because she saw the bug on friday with emma and i. We all (except for our friend) stayed at Ashley's house last night and we were just kind of talking about what we should do about it, and we think we're going to do it monday.
Like, we'll wait until she stands really close, or puts her hair on ours, or makes head contact of some sort, and pull her off to the side and be like "Okay, Tomi, we love you to death you're like a sister but we've noticed that you have lice...and we're not saying we dont want to be good friends it's just that while you have it we dont want to be entirely super close for fear of catching it. And this is sort of why we've been acting strange these past few weeks..."

or something like that. idk. i really hope she'll be okay and understand...but idk sad sweatdrop

As long as you remmber to be respectful, which you rpobably won't have a problem with. Just make sure that you make it really clear tot her that you care for her, and that you aren't trying ti embarass her, you only want to HELP her.

You must tell her. For her own good. Tell her you don't want to offend or anything but you noticed she has some lice. make sure you point out that it is bad for her health and it's no shame to have them since you can catch anytime you walk on a public place. Make her feel at ease but point out they are a menace.

Its hard to tell someone that they have lice. I know when my cousin had it, I felt really bad about telling her, but lice are a nuisance and the longer the person is infested, the bigger the lice get and the harder it is to get rid of them. I had lice a long time ago because of kids at school and I was embarrased when the nurse said I had them and they made me go home and then everyone knew I had them. Maybe tell her at home or some place where she wont be pointed out. It might be embarrasing for her to be checked and then people find out that she has it. And depending on what type of school you go to, they may not care. After elementary school, even if a person had it, the nurse couldn't send the person home.

*in response to people above as well*
yeah, i know they're pests and such, but she just wont hear us when we tell her.

Emma and i attempted to tell her
We wrote a note (both of our handwriting) so that it would take some of the pressure of in person telling her. Emma stayed after school with her one day to do something for their digital design class, and she left for a sec and the note was within her reach and stuff (but we dont know if she read it) but when emma got back she said she was acting all weird, and seemed like she was in a rush.
And Emma gave her a ride home, and she tried to hand her the note but she wouldn't take it! (which is totally unlike her)
so i'm pretty sure she's read it, but i dont know. she doesnt seem to be doing anything about it if she has read it, because we still see bugs all the time stressed

Just tell her, if she hasent read it then it'll get the point across, if she has then it wont really matter

yeah, i think i am just going to end up having to tell her, if i get bold enough sweatdrop

'cause i'm having a halloween party and i invited her, but then remembered she has lice and i dont entirely want that exposed to my house and my doggies and such

*not to mention she wants me to invite her sister, so there'd be two times the threat*

and i'd feel bad if i told her i 'wasnt having it' because i already made her invite the guy she's trying to date stressed

So, once again, here i am in a hard position crying
