I am your Mord Sith I think that people who attempt suicide and fail are just whoring for attention. I usually agree with you on a lot of stuff I see you post, but on this I must disagree. Sure, there are people who flaunt being "depressed" and "suicidal" when they really aren't that bad in hopes of getting attention (who would WANT that kind of attention, though??), but failed attempts at suicide aren't always from people wanting attention. I know that if I attempted suicide and failed I wouldn't tell people about it; there's no way I'd want that sort of attention. I've thought about suicide before. And yes, I have attempted suicide before, and I'm not proud of that. It wasn't for attention, absolutely not. It failed because I didn't completely consider other factors that tied in to it. I still think about suicide. Heck, I do a lot. Still, I always start to think about my friends when I do, and that pulls me back to reality. I'm not religious or believe in God or an afterlife or anything, but despite that there's always a little nagging bit of me that is afraid of losing my friends and that feels guilty, because they've supported me through so much. It's not a fear of leaving them behind, because I do think that they could easily get on without me and forget after a while. It's more of a fear of losing them in general, be it by their doing, other people, or my own. And yes, it's a rather silly reason, but I'm glad for it. I don't know how long it's going to hold out, but for now I'm fighting to get better and see if there actually is hope out there. You may be satisfied with your life, but it doesn't mean that there aren't people who are stuck in conditions that they aren't willing to do anything to escape. Not everyone is so lucky as to be able to view their life well. Suicide attempts that fail aren't always cries for attention. Honest attempts are acts of desperation when someone feels that there's nothing left for them. ... I think I just made myself an open target for lots of flames and criticism... >_<;;

You are right though, not every failed suicide attempt is for attention. You understand though that it makes me rage when you get that one girl that runs up to her friends and is all liak '' omg im so depressed no 1 liaks me so i tried killing myself!11!!'' then all her friends are liak " OMG Bawwwwwwwwww! We love you!" This happened regularly.

My aunt tried to commit suicide many many times. Though, she was insane. It took her about 50 times to realize a rope really works.

Yay. XD *clings* <33
And yes, I do understand that. I hate when people say stuff like that for attention. >_< It's a serious thing, it shouldn't be said/taken lightly like those people treat it. When people use it just for attention they usually don't know s**t about it. xP So yeah, that's incredibly annoying and pisses me off quite a bit as well. (Reminds me of how last year in health class we talked about depression, and several people were laughing at it and saying "It's no big deal, so what if you feel a little sad? Suck it up and get over it." I got so mad, because they have no idea. >___< )

People just need to take a step back and see that life isn't so horrible and that it could be worse. Enjoy your life to the fullest because you never know what you'll be snuffed out. Today, I just lost a friend. She was killed in a car accident and was only 19 years of age. She was a wonderful person and had a lot going for her. Its a shame that her life ended before it could really start.

I'm a religious person, and I don't think it is up to me to decide when I die. Those are my moral beliefs. Doesn't mean I judge or hate anyone because they attempt suicide. I feel sorry for the families that have to deal with a family member killing themselves. I can't even imagine the pain they must feel.

My views have drastically changed. xD
People who commit suicide are weak. No hate in this world should make you want to die. Especially if you re young.
If you commit suicide at a young age, I feel no sympathy. You have all your life to live for.
However, if you are middle aged and older, or if you are dying, I don't care. You have had the chance to live your life. Go ahead and end it.
I, dare I say it, support suicide for those who talk and sing about hating living. Stop your ******** whining, put down the box cutter, and put the gun in your mouth. Or are you too much of a wimp to do it? Hmm?

I have once thought about it, but never have. I've wanted to do it so bad mainly because, I was tired of living tired of going through all the stuff i've been going through but then I discovered killing myself won't do anything just running won't do anything, so I talked about my feelings to someone it really helped me ^^

i think committing suicide is dumb and weak, tbh. what happened in your life that was so bad that you decided to just give up?
and i don't think someone who is thinking suicidal and someone who commits suicide is that different. both people want to die, just one of them wanted to die more.

I've always thought suicide was a rather selfish way of ending problems. It may work for the person who commits it, but it leaves a big mess for those behind. Ω
