Every time I go somewhere and my boyfriend stays home, I come home and find some kind of porn on my computer evil Of course he tries to lie about it and starts fighting with me over it, but I know how to check for those things. I don't know how to block it. I want to make it so he cant get on anything like that. No nudity at all. Dose anyone know what I have to do? Hopefully my computer holds up, every time he goes to porn I end up having problems with my computer. If you do know, you can type it here, but If you could please also send it to my personal message to that would be great, I would like to know how to do it as soon as I can. I know this isnt really something to be considered serious conversation, but it's pretty serious to me. Thanks for listening.

Ehh... this is probably better in the Advice section, but no matter.

As for blocking, what sort of browser are you using? If you're on Firefox, you could download the plugin for "Adblock". While it won't block the website itself, it will block javascript, images, and some other non-HTML code. Try fiddling around with your Tools > Options as well.

Personally though, I think you should talk it out or compromise. Make him buy his own computer or something if his downloading porn is causing problems with your computer.

put a password on your computer, then he can't get into it at all unless you log him in.

also. . . did you completely ignore the other thread you had going about your uncomfortable situation? Because there are a lot more comments there that we would appreciate if you acknowledged and read.

Set up a password that he would never guess and turn the computer off. :3

I got it all figured out, when I go somewhere I unplug the internet box and take it with me smile Now he can't even get online. It's almost the same thing mixette suggested, I didn't even think to take the mouse smile

if you use firefox, try this:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1803

I've never tried it, but it says it does what you're looking for.
Then regardless, chances are you'll still have IE available and vulnerable(typical). There should be internet options in there, most likely under security or privacy, to set the security levels and what to filter out.
