but, in any event
I am here to give you some hair-shading advice!
Unfortunately, I can only do one drawing at a time, so here's drawing number one
So, the trick is to remember that there is a light source comming from somewhere (even if you can't see it in the drawing)
also, that hair situates itself on the head, which is rather round, much like a ball
and that when shading the hair , it tends to take on the curvular shape of the head underneath
the only difference is that the hair also has flat planes in it, so when shading the hair, it's best to block out areas where the hair is flat and give that part a solid shade
after you've mastered that, then you can go onto giving your character's hair individual-looking hairs
