I was half asleep and wondering the internet, ran right into a link. When I woke up I was here. After that it was like kid in a candy store. It took days to get over the fact I found something not overrun with porn and bots. Then after some weeks of pushing my way through packs of preteens (giving up and just shooting any who came to close) I found some great guilds wink , bought some MC's and now I can't remember where the door was...

I actually never even heard of Gaia before until my fiance told me about it when we moved in together. His mom and sister would talk about it with him, since they also both come to Gaia, so I decided to check it out. That's when I ended up getting sucked in. xd
I was invited here by my kids, as a way to stay connected with them. I keep a watchful eye over them and well as all my other "kids", to make sure everyone plays nice. As it is now, I spend more time here than my kids do! redface

My children and grandchildren live in Georgia and we live in Michigan and they invited us to come on to keep in touch with each other, and it works. We have a family guild that we write to each other on and now our grandchildren here in Michigan are on. It's fun to see how each of them dresses their avatars and grandma can give an opinion if I don't think it's appropriate for them. It's a wonderful way to keep in touch with those that are far away from you and it's free too.

That's wonderful! I'm happy you are able to share this with all of themsmile It's great to know that there are still adults who care what is going on in younger Gaia's lives! My daughter gives me greif when I look over her should some times just to see what is going on. I don't make a habit of it, but I think I should know if someone is talking about a topic not proper for her age.
