6 and 7 year old kids decide to marry

I guess because I am a first grade teacher I am not finding this as cute as everyone else. lol I don't even allow my students to say they have a boyfriend or girlfriend.

Off topic,but I also find it distasteful when parents say their kids are flirting or have a boyfriend or girlfriend. I am 6 months pregnant with my son and I promise I will never say he has a girlfriend, is flirting, is a stud muffin, or anything else that i believe hyper-sexualizes him. I get that all kids probably do this harmless relationship thing. Hell, I had a "boyfriend" and "went on dates" when I was 5 and 6, but as a parent and teacher I will not encourage it in my own children and students.

Also, I get that kids are squirrelly and can be gone in a flash, but this wasn't just them taking a stroll out of the back yard. They packed stuff and took wallets. lol They made it to a train station, which I can only hope was right next door. gonk

But to marry so young, they need their parent's consent.

But it seems like true love and it is really cute.
