Roughly translated, "Demons out, good luck in!"
Happy year of the ox, people! I am a rat and the horoscopes and stuff sound eerily alot like me! Last year was my year to shine, and freakishly enough, it was the best year that I ever had, as far as I can remember! 3nodding I graduated, got everyone else's "dream job" as a high school Biology teacher in a very prestigious all male school, met some people who have become really close to me, and life at home has become better a million times over! The only disappointment was that I didn't meet my "Mr. Right" yet! crying Oh well, maybe this year is bullish enough for that to happen! whee (I didn't use a bad word. The Chinese are literally telling people to have a bullish new year, and it means may it be extremely lucky!)
February 3rd is the date of the Japanese spring festival, Setsubun. My Japanese language teacher was telling us about it in class yesterday (Saturday):
