*wails*
Tim and Marty just had a scuffle... no one drew blood, but Tim got pinned. I got up to make sure everyone was OK. Tim was acting really docile when I picked him up, so I took him back to my chair with me to cuddle.
He let me turn him over on his back, which was very strange. Isnuggled with him for a bit and then he started spasming and couldn't breathe. I treid to help him... but he died anyway.
I am so upset. He was my favorite and in 5 or 6 months, I was going to breed him. He had a really good temperament and was really cuddly and had dumbo ears.
I got a few pics of him before he died, and I am still cuddling him.

crying I'm so sorry for your loss!!! Oh I'm sure Marty didn't mean to hurt Tim so badly...I know it's probably hard not to be angry with him right now, but when I had rats they used to wrestle all the time. I'm not an expert, but I doubt Marty killed him, since you said he didn't even draw blood. Marty probably just sensed that there was something wrong with Tim before he had the seizure you described. But there was nothing you could do! Again I am soory ((hugs))

Thank you. Yeah, I don't blame Marty at all. I watched the wrestling match, and there was no real force used. They have wrestled much harder and louder in the past with no ill effects.
It just makes me wonder how old Tim really was. I was told when I got him (Nov 22nd) that he was 10 months old. He and Liam were owned by a girl that claimed she had no time for them and surrendered them to the pet store where I buy treats and such. The pet store called me when they came in and relayed that they were about 10 months old.
I wonder if they were really older than that. If so, I will have to keep an eye on Liam.

I know exactly how you feel. My first guinea pig, Heath, was acting odd, it was weird when I could set hiom on his back and he would do nothing... Held him and he spazzed a few times, that died... Damn that Christmas DX
