Hello all. Been a while since I posted here. (Honestly I haven't done much art recently)

I've decided tonight that the majority of my bodies being drawn are ok, as well realized that I don't really focus on the head when drawing the rest of the body, so now I've decided to do head study. (drawing the head, face, hair, neck, and where the neck connects to the shoulders.)

I'd really appreciate some help on this as I think I'm getting nearer to actually liking almost all of the pictures I draw. On to the images!

This is a two for one! The guy on the left is based lightly (very lightly) on one of the faces drawn in a Mark Crilley how to draw video. (the first how to draw hair if you must know) and the girl is out of my head. I'm still not quite to the out of my head being great, but I'm getting there. Anyway, Ignore the eyes looking weird at this point as I couldn't find my pencil sharpener and I didn't have a pointy tip on my pencil for drawing details. So they eyes are a mess. On to the next.

This one is entirely out of my head as well. I think I did much better at this one. O-o Is it really just me or are men easier to draw then women? Anyway, crying I need help with ears... That's the only thing majorly wrong that I can see. Let me know if I am wrong on this though.

Ok, not my best. I admit... Ear sucks again (Really need help on ears) but it's overall ok IMO.

Thanks to anyone reading or helping out. ^_^ I appreciate it.

User ImageShocking...

The girl in the first one has her eyes too close together. A good rule of thumb is that there should be space for one more eye between them.

You draw ears too high on the head too. Move them down a bit. They should sort of line up with the eyes.

...isn't it?User Image

User Image
for the first pic here i just fixed the chin/jaw w.e. u wanna call it.
i made it mor even and i showed like the middle of the face and the line where i asumed where u wanted the eyes to be.
for the guy, one eye seem higher then the other and on the girl she seems a bit cross eyed and her eyes seem to b a bit close. just adjsut that and u should be good
also, the shoulders seem to b off on both of them. the left shoulder is always broader then the right. just straighten them out and itll b great :]

User Image

now for the sideish view, i see u tried to include the cheek but its kinda far up. on the line i just fixed it up a bit
i just realized this now but the ear is a bit big. just make it smaller and it would look good.

User Image

for the girl too, the ear is a bit off. i added a cheek as u c to this

i hoped i helped!
keep up the great work biggrin

if you arent already doing it, the best way to start out is drawing heads with the basic adding the cheek lines and chin to a circle. it works from all angles and gives a good basis for where the features go. im sory i cant put up an example, but im sure theres a tut on here somewhere.
