This is very good, considering you are only starting. You have a pretty good knowledge of basic art principles (like cross hatching).
I think you should rely more on traditional mediums instead of digital, however. Digital SEEMS easier, but it will benefit you much more if you work more with traditional mediums and get a better sense of coloring. Don't be afraid to draw hands, and use photo references if you need to.

these are relli good drawings. i love the texture u used in them, it looks great! mrgreen and the eyes tooo...relli like themm ok only thing i have to critique is that in you first drawing the legs look a bit skinny but wat ever floats ur boat is good. the hands in the first drawing could use somefingers but as many people know here ive given up on hands for awhile...lol for the second drawing, the hair looks a bit awkward the way its drawn but its nothing big to worry about in my opinion. thats it relli good for just begining keep up the good work biggrin
