Here's the story:
One day ago, I took out my crayons. And colored. I did this:
Shitty, right?
NOW. An hour ago. I told myself, "You have to beat the crayons. Beat the crayons."
And what did I do?
I ******** conquered it. After two hours of sketching, half an hour of inking, and an hour of coloring, I did it.
And I'm even proud of this picture. :] I feel happy right now.
If only I can do this more often with headshots.
This is where you come in.
I want some critique. I mean, I may love this picture, but it's definitely needed.
<3 Thanks~

Shocking...I really like the hair on the last one! The only thing I can think of to do is to shade. I don't use crayons much, so I don't know how to go about that. ...isn't it?

When I see the first drawing I think you coloured it on something with a bit too much relief on it. Or did you do all the points on purpose ? Or is it you scanner.
Anyway i don't know if this is helpful but I colour like this. First I colour everything in very softly after that I colour a thick dark dark line next to the lines and then a stroke in between the dark and the softly coloured. And then you can blur it a bit so it looks smooth.
If you don't get it [because I can't explain] I'll make a little 'tutorial' for you this afternoon ? n.n If you want too . . .

*had forgotten to check thread* D8
I think I get what you're saying; it's like making a small boundary between the edge of the line and a little ways out, in order to shade? O 3 O

Ok fo rthe top one I couldnt find ANYTHING wrong with it. Its really well done. I still need to work on plain old standing people bodies looks like youve got that down packed but for the second one the only thing that i can say is that the eye that isnt showing.....Its not showing because her hair is supposed to be covering it right? But really the bang should be a lot bigger because with the hair covering the eye like that it makes it look like the girl has a very fat face...sorta like a babies.
