Netizens are in awe of the fans' dedication, but a tad appalled at the money-based nature of the whole thing. I mean, couldn't the guy easily afford these gifts? A bunch of cute cards or a huge colorful SHINee collage probably would have been just as nice, and conveyed their adoration in a more heartfelt way. I'm sure Onew doesn't mind the 32 GB iPod touch or the Burberry scents though, so if the presents make him happy, I guess they did their job. My socialist side is kind of hoping that Onew heeds his SM-sunbae Yunho and refuses the lavish gifts altogether, telling fans to give their money to people who need it. Congratulations anyway to Onew for becoming legal.
