-Americans who go to other countries and expect them to speak english
(yes this is prob gonna keep going off topic or tirade cause I'm still drugged up on my hive meds and they have me a bit loopy lol)
This goes the other way around. I've always worked in tourist/travel industries (amusement parks, food, hotels, etc) and people always expected me to speak their language and not english. I swear I should be able to speak german, farci, japanese, mexican dialect of spanish (I say mexican dialect cause I was taught from my p.r. grandfather and they stare at me blankly from time to time), russian, etc to appease everyone who comes to my area of the us lol. Not just that, had to laugh when someone from canada wanted a fries bell grande with extra gravy from our taco bell and were mad at us for having Tex Mex and not having their food lmao.
The hate list... (aside from those who think everyone in the us should act like a freakin Rosetta stone)
- people (ok this isn't every person on the planet, some individuals are ok, love other individuals, but as a mob I don't like people)
- the people who say California is Mexico and we all should speak Spanish (yes this happens, my husband got asked when he moved to Mexico after he moved from the bay area to here in LA. And I get "you're in Mexico why don't you speak our spanish?". The SW hasn't belonged to Mexico in like 200+ yrs, get over it already.)
- The people who claim their race's pride and get mad at another's. (So many times I've seen "brown pride down with the rest" and those people get mad at the Asian pride or White pride... if it's ok for your race to have it's pride then stfu it should be fine for all to have their pride)
- closed minded people who hate what they don't understand and won't learn about it.
- people who fight over religion.
- people who insult when they don't like something instead of just ignoring it. (oh how many times do I get "ew gross" "tear my eyes out" or "you're sick" as comments on my art work... how mature, just keep going. I am 27 I know not everyone is into gore/horror, they don't have to whine about it.)
- my immune system (have an autoimmune disease that causes hives when I come into contact with commune use veggies/chems... so annoying -.-")
