The faded out joy still lingers, the black heart still murmurs lightly. Clouded eyes still stare on, tired feet still move forth. Souls still call out, searching for their lost love. Empty cries still echo, begging for mercy on their hearts. Not all shall be lost here, fragile bodies still stand weakly; still fighting for what was once theirs.
Marching on; never forgetting. Our hearts have be torn, we’ve been left to bleed. Our bodies are worn; little strength to push forward remains. Our voices reduced to a whisper; hushing our empty calls. Our dreams lost; forgotten quickly when pain overrides. Our love is no longer desired; blown aside like a leaf in the wind. We have been forgotten; our murmurs, our pleas, our calls, they bring no attention to thee.
Never shall we give up; fall to our knees. Once we’ve been there; crawling and searching for a lift. We’ve become too strong for that though- we rely on only ourselves. Walking and stumbling alone; reaching for no one but searching for someone. The black silhouette pressing against the bright sky’s. The unseen man; a single glance is all that is spared on him. Always forgotten; becoming a repressed memory in your mind. A thing to pity, no longer a man. Your pity can be withheld; your helping hand drawn back. For we do not search for help; for someone to push us down again. We search for one- and only one. We search for the one who first pushed us; threw us away without a second glance.
