A new picture which is a little better, hands and feet still look like crap though. Arms are a bit long too. I'm drawing on fairly small scale, so hands and feet are hard for me. Old Post: Looking for proportions mostly. I realize her hands and feet aren't drawn very well, but I think I kept them in proportion.

Great place to practice anatomy and what not.
Try the 30-second Skecth training, it will help you a lot surprised

This is anatomically seen not even bad. As it is already said the head is too big.
Some other points are:
- the shoulders: The are too round and one can't see the bone... The one called "Processus coracoideus" can be used by the way to make real sexy female shoulders look natural and great.
- The foot are "floating" because especially the (from our sight) right foot points upwards it seems as if she doesn't really stand on the ground. You could also underline the "weight" by just drawing a shadow underneath to show there is a floor.
As I said: Anatomy is not that bad but... When I say "shadows" I want to say something more about that: You drew NO SHADOWS AT ALL... and that's just sad, because your picture could be so great if you just made it look a little more 3dimensional. Even lights are not there... that's not the way colouration should work. Try to find the pleasure of little details and you'll be great!

I only had a Crayola 12 pack when I drew it, and I've not learned a good blend for shadows yet.

I am not that good at coloring myself,, but these simple coloring techniques will help you;
* Do not color everything, leave some parts clean or lightly colored. But be sure to be consistent with the side you do not color.
* Vary the intensity of the color, some parts more intense some light.
*Try filling the tooth of the paper with color.
*Avoid making color paths too visible,, just like what u did to the pants of the first drawing,,, the coloring path is too visible.

I'm not really too worried about getting good @ color, I like black and white better. I've just been doing a few color pics of my OCs so people know what color their clothes and hair is. Also, we're getting off topic, this is about the anatomy, not color.
