yesterday, me and my husband went to my grandma's house to check on her, and the first thing we saw when we entered her yard was one of her chihuahuas laying with her tongue hanging out. it was a tiny chihuahua named elodra, and it seemed the second i said 'oh my gosh, it's elodra', my grandma came out on the phone shrieking. she'd called my cousin to bury her (my husband seemed uneasy with her crying like she was, so i had him dig her grave to occupy him). when we went to bury her, she wanted to wrap her in a blanket (i did that when my dog timo died), and she had a hole in her head. we're guessing some kid with a pellet or bb gun hit her between the eyes (yeah. executioner style) because she cowered and snaked on the ground if she sensed she was in trouble, making her an easy target. she was a sweet little dog and we're going to miss her. and it's just unfortunate that some kid used her as a target. it could of been a prairie dog or a rabbit or cat or something, but it was our chihuahua. crying
