I don't know if its true or not but i heard there might be a english live action DN.
Sadly the person who might be playing Light is Zac Efon. [Dear god i hope not]

if there really is a deathnote live-action movie done by warner brothers and the stupid ******** known as zac efron is playing light yagami... seriously... just with one lame actor theyve ******** up the whole thing! evil ive recently seen a picture (though i hope it might be fake sweatdrop ) and not only is light ******** up... misa (looks like a buisness chic) and L (looks to american and his hair aint mesy enough) have also been ******** up! waaaah! crying
