Okay sorry if this turns out really long. Theres this kid I like and I'm pretty sure he likes me back. He sends little hints like at our last two band competitions he sat next to me for rewards and we sat really close together, and he would always wait for me so we could walk back to the bus together. Or I'll see him in the hall and we will smile and wave at eachother. He even tried to teach me how to play his instrument theres more but I don't feel like listing them all. Plus the fact that my friend asked him who he liked and he said me. So I guess what I'm asking is should I ask him out? I want to go out with him, and all of my friends say I should ask him out. I guess I'm just a chicken, and I was talking to my mom about it and she told me she considered girls who ask guys out sluts. So I want to go out with him but I don't want my mom to dissaprove of me. Hope that made sense. I'm 15 by the way.

Wow, your mom is not cool.
Ask him out, regardless of what your mother says. It just shows what you want and that you're not afraid to do what it takes to get it.
Congrats dear ^-^ I had your same dilemma about a year ago with my ex of eight months. We both liked each other a lot, but we were both oblivious. My friends kept telling me, 'Omg he likes you Ashley! Just ask him out!' Me, being the short and shy sophomore girl(at the time) waited. He eventually asked me out after New Years.
