[PRP] Children of the Court (Toli, Moana, and Zoran)

[Menelie]

Toli swims around in the Aernyn court, mostly minding his own business, occasionally flitting up to a group of adults and listening to their conversations. He never stays long. Adults are boring. He looks around for Moana, his partner in crime. Normally her bright pink self is fairly visible from wherever he's at.  

[Teigra]

A soft giggling from behind the boy announced his sister's presence. "Toliooooooo!" she whined teasingly, tapping his shoulder, then quickly swimming around his other side with a giggle. "You're so sloooow! I've been waiting foreeeever!"

She wiggled her fins, eager to set out, even without a goal or destination in mind. At least, not a concrete one. Entertainment was the goal of the day and she'd be happy wherever she could attain it. "Come on, I"m bored. Let's do something fun!"  

[Menelie]

"There you are!" he exclaims, swimming over to her. He pokes her once. "TAG YOU'RE IT!" he exclaims before darting off, giggling madly to himself. He loves playing with his favorite sister. His only sister, but still his favorite.

"Nah nah can't catch me!" he exclaims, sticking his tongue out.  

[Antidia]

Keeping his distance from his siblings, the quiet Zoran only peered around the corner watching them play. It wasn't that he didn't want to play with them, or was shy around them, he just didn't want to get in their way.

While he watched them play, a conch shell fell from the bundle of junk he'd been holding on to, hitting the solid floor with a loud clank.  

[Teigra]

"No fair!!!" Moana pouted for a moment, arms crossed over her chest. Darn 'Toli was cheatin' again! She was gonna' have ta' tell daddy! She was about to start after the cheating tadpole, but halted at the odd 'clank' noise. Eh? Wassat?

Glancing about, she saw the conch shell rolling to a stop on the floor first, then further investigation revealed her other brother peering around the far corner. "Zo-zo!" She giggled, holding out her hands and making a supposably threatening face. "Better look out! I'm it and I'm gonna' getchu! Like a big scary shark! Rawr! Gonna' chomp me up some little tadpoles, omnomnom!" She made grabbing motions with her hands, opening her mouth and 'rawring' like a scary shark while deciding which brother would be easier to go after.  

[Menelie]

Toli looks behind himself when he hears the shell hit the floor. "Oh no!" he exclaims. He re-routes himself so he's heading back toward Zoran. Hopefully he'd get there before Moana did.

"Zorannnnnn!" he yells. "I'm comin' for ya!" He takes Zoran by the hand and zooms off with him. "Gotta keep away from Moana, she's It!"" he exclaims.  

[Antidia]

Zoran didn't have time to react. He'd planned to flee when his sister was looking ferocious, but his brother grabbing his hand caused him to drop his arm load of various junk things with a bit of a crashing noise.

Awkwardly, he swims behind Anatolio, "It? What's 'it'? Is she gonna eat us?" there was a tone of panic in the boys voice, as he'd never played this game with his siblings before, and was clueless.  

[Teigra]

"Hey!" 'Toli zipped by and grabbed ahold of her other brother, dragging him off. Well, that answered that then. She'd just go after both of them! Easy!

"Rawwwwwr!" Moana shouted, breaking into giggles while swimming after the pair with arms outstretched. She glanced at some of the junk items on the floor in puzzlement in passing, but lost interest due to the chase. "Imma' gonna' eatchu!" She couldn't help laughing again, having no idea of just how confused Zoran was by this game. For her, this was business as usual and the business of the day was having fun in whatever way possible.  

[Menelie]

"Well, she isn't really gonna eat us," says Toli, still holding onto Zoran. "It's a game. She's It and you gotta keep her from tagging you, or else you're It and you gotta chase us around. Okay? I'm gonna let go of you now so we can split up or else she'll get both of us! Ready? Go!"

Toli lets go of Zoran and zooms off to the left, hoping Zoran would take a hint and go right. He weaves in and out of passing adults, ignoring their annoyed cries of "Hey!" and "Watch it!"  

[Antidia]

Zoran is a little off guard with this game, preferring to not be so ... what's the word his mom uses? rowdy? rambunctious? Especially around the adults. But still, he wanted to have fun with his siblings, so he zipped the opposite direction of his brother, nearly crashing into several different Naiads that were there.

This was completely exhilirating for the kid. The whole suspense of if he'd be 'It' or not was thrilling. But what if did become 'It'? the pressure was intense, and totally distracting.

That poor marble column didn't even see it coming. Zoran swam smack into it, dazing himself and falling backwards.

"I see ... lil fishies ..." he mumbled pointing up towards nothing.  

[Teigra]

Arg! Which way? Moana zipped up to the intersection, then darted her head back and forth, looking after one brother first, then the other. Which one, which one...

While she debated, however, she couldn't miss the dull thud, followed by her quieter brother sinking towards the hallway floor. Uh oh. She cringed in sympathy, forgetting about Toli for the moment as she swam over to check on Zoran.

She hovered over her dazed brother, looking about for the 'fishies' that only he could see. "Zo-zo...the column isn't playing. You're not supposed to tag it, you know," she teased lightly, still looking at him funny. Did he break something? His brain maybe? She settled in on the floor next to him, peering at him curiously and reaching out to poke him lightly once or twice.  

[Menelie]

[Oh God, they could be Zo-Zo, To-To, and Mo-Mo. /dies of cuteness]

"Oh man!" exclaims Toli, zipping back over to where Zoran had smacked into a column. "You gotta watch where you're going, dude," he says, giggling softly. "You okay?"

He figures the game's paused for now, until they make sure Zoran's not hurt or anything. Still, he prepares to dart away if Moana decides to make a tag at him.
