He's very admirable, and has spent his time protecting and sticking by his mothers side. She means everything to him. He would likely be a bit more protective, even to a stranger, especially a lady, if he was informed of a threat.
His probably wouldn't be one to oppose her brother. Instead, he could teach her to hide in the oceans waves. If she stayed near the shores, she could use the waters for shelter at any time. Plus, the Ocean, is his fathers original mistress. His father too, is a force to be reckoned with, harboring some of the seas power.
Mizu might be able to teach him to harness the waters element, should hiding in the waves prove to be insufficient.
