8th graders going to a High School?

So I am heading back to school on September 7th for my Senior year to come.
I wanna know if you had 8th graders going to your school.
Because of the money budget is so low for some schools.
They had to to close three Middle Schools so now the 8th graders are gonna come to our High school.
I think that it's a bit stupid because then it will be confusing and I don't know how bad they will be once they come to my High School.
But anyway what would you do if 8th graders moved into your school?

Something like that happened where I go to school.
We had an intermediate school with the grades of 3rd, 4th and 5th. It had to be closed down because there wasn't enough money, so now the elementry school has kids from pre-k through 4th grade (It's a small school so it's real full) and the 5th graders are now at the middle school.

I'm not sure how I would feel if 8th graders moved to the high school. I just graduated from my middle school. x]

For my school, grade 8-12 is senior year and junior year is 1-7. So, personally I wouldn't mind.

I wouldn't mind. My school has all the levels in one building.

then again, I wouldn't mind. We don't have middle school anyway :Y

It's not unusual here in Australia. For us, high school is years 7-12.
We don't have "middle school".

No, but one of the schools in my city goes from 7-12.
It works....and I started hs in gr. 9; I was 13. Most 8th graders are that age...so really in terms of ages I was the same as them then....
