The other day I was walking through the mall. There was so much noise. . .so much hustle and bustle. There was a line outside the Apple Store for the new iPhone 4, people looking at all the brand spanking new clothes. . .you name it. I miss my retreats. I just want to get away from the noise for five seconds. Just a bit of time to relieve myself from all the pressure.

Wow, it's already the last day of band camp. My body is absolutely exhausted, but my mind and spirit are totally pumped for this marching band season and our trip to London. So excited!

And school will be starting next Tuesday. August 31st. All the stress of classes, band practices and performances, college apps...Senior year, here I come! I have some mixed feelings, but, overall, I just feel energized.

I like your short nice entries. The mall one reminds me of the first thing I ever posted in my Gaia journal. I'm not a huge fan of the buzzing crowds and noises of malls. It there wasn't a movie theater attached, I would never go.
