Name: Twitch Nicknames: Does Twitch -really- need a nickname? Gender: Male Age: 14ish
Faction/Race Monster (Weregerbil)
Personality: Twitch is....well he's twitchy. He has the attention span of a small rodent and it shows. Often. He could be in conversation with you one second, then over there the next, then stealing your lunch simply because he wanted to, then right back to talking to you like nothing ever happened. He has the rodent's mentality of "THIS IS MINE BACK OFF" and tends to hoard things away in his room. Especially shiny things, whether they are useful or not. He really just doesn't care.
Twitch is very jittery in an almost unsettling way. He is always moving, even if it's something as simple as tapping his foot. This boy -has- to move, has to look this way and that, has to be planning his next 'big' move. He really tries to pay attention to others, really! But in the grand scheme of things it's just so -hard-. His constant movement is often seen as timidness, like he's trying to get away from those that approach him. In reality he's anything -but- timid and actually has quite the vicious streak hidden under that fluff and...glow. This is especially apparent if you make a move on anything he has deemed -his-. Whether it be the person he's talking to, the random shiny coin nearby, or even as something as tiny as a raisin.
Yep, he'd bite your damn face off if you made a move on his raisins. Keep that in mind.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Let's face it. You've heard of werewolves (who hasn't?) and you've maybe heard of the lesser known beasts such as werecats, werehyenas, and possibly others. But have you ever heard of a weregerbil? No? Didn't think so. Even if you -had- it's unlikely to have seen one so...bright as Twitch. Somewhere in the family history of were-creatures the genes went horribly wrong and popped out a mutated black and radioactive blue glowing weregerbil.
All in all, it didn't make for a very scary beast.
Twitch's father is a weregerbil of a frightening form, his wereform looking more like a hulking beast of a thing rather than the small cuddly critter the word 'gerbil' brings to mind. He had hoped his son would take a similar form, but alas that small cuddly form is the one that Twitch transforms into. But he tries, he really does! Just the other day he maintained super sharp teeth in that form.
Every little bit helps...
His family hopes that with a bit a LOT of schooling, their young pup will grow into a fearsome beast in his own right.
FEAR:
Natural Ability: Were-form: Twitch is able to shift in between his normal and weregerbil form at will. For now his were-form is small and umimpressive, but as he learns and his FEAR grows this form will grow and shift into something far more scary.
FEAR Ability: Toxic to the Touch: In were-form, Twitch's fur and tail tip have electric blue glowing markings on them. When using his ability, these markings secrete a toxin, akin to the natural world's poison dart frogs. At their mildest these toxins give minor discomfort, and at their strongest (likely for later years), they can cause major pain, hallucinations, and various other effects.
It is interesting to note that while harmful to others, these toxins are actually vital to Twitch. If he secretes too much of them during a fight, he'll grow even more twitchy than usual, eventually winding up exhausted and perhaps even lapsing into unconsciousness in a very bad case. In these cases, he must receive a shot of poison to help rebuild his reserves and bring his body back to normal.
