@Vyli: you mean PCs last longer than macs? o Ao I've never heard that one if that's so. How old is your oldest mac?

@Takiies: Yea, Christmas break ^ ^ Though we don't really call it that since it's not a break we get deliberately cause of Christmas - it's just the break in between our quarters. We don't do semesters at my school. A quarter is the equivalent though, but they last only 11 weeks (about 3 months), and we have 4 each year. We get a 3 week break after fall - winter quarter starts in Jan, then we get 1 week off after that quarter before Spring quarter begins (it's basically our spring break if you wanna give that break time a name), and then after spring quarter, we get 3 weeks off again (except during leap year, when we get 4 I believe) This short 3 week break is our lame summer vacation. Summer quarter starts after that break. Then after summer quarter, we get a single week again - much like the spring break, but I really dunno what to call this one if I were to give it an equivalent name to semester-schools. Then after fall quarter, we repeat again and get our 3 week winter/Christmas break = 3=

No I meant the Mac computers last longer, they tend to be better quality than the laptops. Although there both have there quirks.

Maybe I've just been to rough with my laptop? oAo *has no idea* It does have a weird crack on the apple icon on the back of screen.

@Takiies: o 3o Pretend a year is a circle. Slice it into 4 even pieces like a pie. In between each slice is a break. The first break is 3 weeks. Second break is 1 week. Third break is 3 weeks again, and the 4th break is again 1 week.

so basically my vacation breaks look like this:
(winter quarter) 1 Week Break (spring quarter) 3 Week Break (summer quarter) 1 Week Break (Fall Quarter) 3 Week Break

@Vyli: Ohhh kk. Well laptops are less resiliant than them PCs o 3o
D: A crack is never a good sign. I messed up my last laptop cause it had physical external damage on the specific spot where the screen connects to the motherboard. Very unfortunate. Other than that damage it's perfectly healthy...but repair for that damage costs about the same amount as a new laptop.

It's a bit like mine, though I don't have a break in fall but therefore a 3 month break in summer.

I wish for a normal regular 3-month long summer break. Once I'm done with school, it's "the job" for me, and no real break until I've earned a vacation with whatever company I'm with = 3=
