convincing expressions?

I'm still on the fence on whether the girl's expression is annoyed enough for the whole point of the drawing. Also, is everything properly conveyed? What impressions are you getting about the two charas?

It's actually a little hard to tell the one in purple is a girl. Maybe add a bit more lashes? Because it feels like in the face she looks more like a he... otherwise, the expressions are spot on.

is the guy a jerk bothering the girl?
or the girl just is always angry and the guy is her happy friend?

The girl definitely looks annoyed. I can't tell if the guy is being nice or a jerk though.

Another thing, her hand looks sort of just like a blob holding the umbrella. Reference hands holding things to get a good grasp on how they should look. Here's an example, although it's probably not the view/angle you were going for:

Always try to define the knuckles, though. Otherwise, I think you did a nice job. ^_^
