Chi growled on instinct as Selina hopped on Tsukiko, who luckily had the reflexes and superior height necessary to recover from the friendly surprise attack. She was torn between laughing and berating, and instead emitted a possibly embarrassing squeak. She straightened up as Kenshin addressed them, and nodded sternly at his reassurance. She opened her mouth to respond, but then the Raikage was dividing them into teams and, thankfully, she was placed with Selina and Kenshin. "Team Seizan, back at it again." It was meant to sound supportive, but it came out more solemn than intended. She really was happy to be with her team through this, but the nibbling anxiety and fear at the pit of her stomach prevented her from enjoying any reprieve in this time of war.
Chi looked expectantly at Kenshin. Taking the hint, Tsukiko also turned to look at him, waiting to hear either the Hyuuga or the Raikage give the next command.
As the Raikage made his approach and proceeded to call out orders, Cason would recognize his place within the chain of command. He was beholden to Mizuki Sensai and her orders. Thankfully Cason still had his Lab Coat on, so his role as a Medic was plain and obvious for all to see. He tossed his drink in the garbage bin before he approached his teacher, standing to the side and behind her. Inclining his head, he smiled slightly "At your leave, Mizuki-Sensai. I will do my best to assist" He would follow her after summoning his medical tools which he would carry under his arm

When Shiro began naming off everyone's positions within the army, Osiris didn't move until they were called on. When he did so, Jay let out a howl and slammed his fist into his chest hard enough to cause dust and dirt to scatter from his position. "Pipe down, Wukong," Hino commanded. Jeon snickered a little, and behind his mask Jay and Oro both gave a smirk. They turned, looking at each person but Shion as they were called off. Good to let everyone know that the ANBU were always watching. The four of them didn't linger for long, however, as they had precious little time. "Lord Raikage, we will move out and begin scouting operations." Hino put his hand up, and with a twist everyone of them disappeared in a blur of lines.
All except Jeon. "Wait, what!? I don't remember that command," the girl rubbed her head. She turned to Shiro. "Anyway, don't be too slow!" she would request, waving her hands before kneeling to leap, and all but vanishing before everyone's eyes.

Only to have the moment then taken away by Shiro who would begin the announcement and distribution of squads. Toso looked stale faced as ever his heart did not waver in the now but perhaps it would later. Suffice to say he had no doubts or reservations about what was about to happen...however, glances around the area proved not the same for others.
He would then join the triad of Kaneo, Mizuki, and Cason chiming in. "I as well commander Mizuki bloop. Lest no forget the flares to be distributed among the leadership. bloop. In the meantime, let me see about addressing something." Toso would then for the moment leave and approach the group that was the KPD. He may not have been the best motivational speaker but he felt it necessary to try and do something about the 'air' around them. As it was their allies trapped behind enemy lines after all.
"Begging pardons Bloop." A tentacle would slink into the group followed by the owner itself. "I do hope none of you have any reservations about whats expected of you. Ah, I should introduce myself. I'm Tosokurui Ashikoki Hojo lead of the support unit." The mans introduction and interruption seemed pleasant as it was spoken with a smile. Though it may have been a bit unsettling seeing as despite the smile his overall facial expression never changed. His next words however, carried a surprising weight suddenly. "If any of you have lost your nerve then step away now, going in half hearted could spell your end. bloop." Although the gravity of the words of course lightened as the man had a habit of going er bloop constantly.
"Try to recall why you're here bloop. Last I heard I believe it was your friends trapped behind enemy lines bloop. Then ask yourself whom is better if not yourselves to be part of their rescue. For what it's worth bloop. I can think of none other than the friends of said individuals before me." Toso would then for the moment look towards Shiro then back to the group. "Friendship is a powerful thing. bloop. It saved my life. I've no doubts that it can save theirs and be the driving force behind your assault. Focus rather that this is not an attest to authority but a crusade for one's comrades. Bloop. Ah, bloop, here I am rambling. But they say 'support' comes in many forms bloop. Mizuki waited patiently for the assignments to come forth. However when all the names had been read aloud she was rather shocked. Not so much because she was unaware of the fact that Toso would be under command, but more so in that she was responsible for two separate teams. It left her with a sense of expanded burden. A part of her felt that by the time this war was through, she would be a very different person than she had been at the start. "Mmm, I grabbed mine after leaving the office since I'd never forgot any of my toys~""" Turning her attention to Cason she looked him over before trying her best to put on a reassuring smile. "Just keep your head down and be alert Caso-kun. You'll do fine I'm sure."
After the return of Toso she simply chuckled in response to his quip about the flare. "If they didn't I'm sure the it's because the twins are confident they won't need it. But so long as you have yours I'm ready to move out."

Selina giggled as she fell to her feet when Tsukiko regained her balance and made her adorable squeak. She then heard and ignored Kenshin remark about how diligent they needed to be. She needed to ignore him. She knew the dangers of the world outside of these walls. In her soul she was shaking. Despite this, however, she needed to be a true magical girl and fight through the fear. Thankfully, the Raikage assigned her to the two KPD officers she was already familiar with, so at least she wasn't going into this alone.
In addition, Tosokurui Ashi Hojo waxed off poetically about the fact that they had to save her friends. This all seemed really nice considering the only other time Selina has seen this man was when he once flew over the dojo bursting from a stream of ink like the cow who rode her milk spewing udder in that one animated short. It took Selina weeks to wash off the ink from that. Thank goodness now his permanent markings were going to befall the enemy! With a solemn shake in agreement she was ready to leave. She would follow behind Kenshin and Tsukiko the moment they left.
It hit her again. The honorary demotion set her aside from her ranked peers. It was somewhat bitter she had to prove herself so soon on an actual battlefield. Could the stakes be higher? There hasn't been an opportunity to pick up the pieces prior. The situation wasn’t really all that demoralizing. She wasn’t with someone who doubted her. Scorned her. Belittled her.
Her entire being would have to be offered up to this cause. She wanted to offer her moral and stamina so much with what was at stake. But, she also wanted to be far from this with the surf on her heels. One want was going to have to triumph over the other, like it or not, because without the certainty of one the other would be doomed.
The supplies were tallied, minus a much wanted first aid kit, and Unki could only wait. She thought about grabbing and pulling Shion’s ear to place into her vicinity but didn’t. She didn’t know who the opposite assault team was. Hell,honestly, she found she could only recognize only a couple out of all of those who had appeared there to begin with.

___Kaneo rolled his shoulders and started off after Mizuki. He wasn't too terribly keen to shoot the s**t, honestly, so getting a move on seemed good to him. At the end of the day he wasn't super happy about the idea of getting in a fight, or being in charge of fighting. He preferred tracking, and, honestly, chasing, not fighting. He figured he'd be asked to kill, but had hoped he'd avoid an all out brawl. To say he was less than thrilled was an understatement. Still, he begrudgingly shoved his hands in his pockets and headed off after his friend and commander.

Insight Rain: The user will practice extending themselves into the atmosphere, in a sense. After much dedication, the user develops the ability to sense hostile intent in the immediate area. As to where, however, they cannot be sure.
Skill - Multitasking: While the first two stages of the style revolve around the very basics of how to use a bow, the third stage incorporates the use multiple arrows into a more stylish way of battling. Mastery allows the user to simultaneously fire multiple arrows with any technique that does not specifically state otherwise, and allows the Arrow Creation technique to create up to three arrows at once with no increase in cost.
An overly eager smile grew across Shion's face as Shiro posted orders. Assault Group A. She was to be in the vanguard, right in the midst of the fight. And to make things all that much better, it was being lead by the Kage himself. Finally, a chance to prove herself directly to Shiro... And what's more, she was to work with Unki during their assault. Honestly, it was more than enough to erase any lingering doubts about going into combat on a scale such as this.
Making her way over to Unki, she could tell her partner was deep in thought, probably just as worried about the whole thing as Shion was just moments prior. In a not so well thought out attempt to ease her partner's worries, Shion gave Unki a playful punch on the shoulder and a wholesome grin. "I just can't seem to get rid of you, can I?" she joked, taking a moment to pause before continuing. "Hey, try not to worry so much. You're gonna do great... and even if you don't, I've got your back."
__ Kenshin was to join the assault team as the B squad. Tsukiko and Selina were on the same assault squad which was rather convenient. He listened as the Raikage stated that he would take the lead on the assault and nodded. He felt more confident with his village's leader leading the pack and felt pride in being lead into battle by the Lord Raikage himself. Kenshin saluted his fearless leader and stood resolutely in his wake. "Yes sir, no questions." He stated dutifully before looking back towards Selina and Tsukiko. As Chi revved up and Tsukiko spoke that Team Seizan would be returning he nodded. "Absolutely." Then he looked towards the tentacled Toso, the man who seemed to be making a fool of himself at the plaza earlier. This man was certainly higher in rank than himself so Kenshin offered at least some attention and reverence. The man's gloopy appendages and odd speech impediment were distracting and disturbing to the man of order. His advice regarding focusing on the mission resonated with him far more than friendship. He felt a pang of affection overwhelm him for Rio-Kyuri which he quickly buried. "Focusing on completing the objective is more important than friendship!" Kenshin lashed out loud in an effort to forsake the love that was welling in his heart. The stoic man paused for a moment before speaking up once more. "My apologies for speaking out of turn, sir, thank you for the encouragement." He then felt regret for questioning and contradicting his superior, his emotions were spreading out of containment and he had to put them to an end. "I swear to you that the two behind enemy lines will be reinforced by three of the KPD's finest rookie officers." He spoke with confidence and conviction even as he felt his heart tremble at the thought of Ada being harmed. Kosei then glanced at the nodding Selina. "Ah, she's staying quiet for once." He remarked to himself internally with a glimmer of hope that she would adopt the maturity of a true KPD officer soon. "Let's move out." Kenshin began his solid march towards Seizan as the other squadrons moved out as well. He expected that Selina and Tsukiko would be in tow.
